traverse curtain rods lowes

Pinch Pleated Drapes and Curtains provide timeless elegance and sophistication. The top of the drapery is accented with tight, uniform pleats. The pleats are spaced at even intervals to control the fullness of the pleated drapes and weighted at the bottom seams and corners to ensure even, smooth pleating and a clean, crisp appearance. Pinch Pleated Drapes are hung using hooks / pins or ring clips. They open and close with ease, typically using a traverse (i.e. cord/baton) pull rod, which is great for extra wide window enclosures. They can also be hung in a more modern fashion on a stationary, decorative rod using ring clips attached to the top of the drape. Pinch Pleated Drapes and Curtains have been our most popular style for decades due to not only their versatility and dramatic effects on a room’s décor but for their superior natural insulation value, a result of the additional airspace between the pleats. All drapery is fan-folded to maintain crisp pleats during shipping so that they hang beautifully right out of the box.

All of our Pinch Pleated Drapes are HAND MADE IN AMERICA and are available in any of over a hundred different fabrics and three major styles: Lined, Unlined and Sheer. Add blackout lining for superior insulation and privacy. Since 1954 Factory Direct Drapes™ has specialized in custom drapery, curtains, and valances well known for high quality craftsmanship and long lasting durability. I like it but the side rods will not extend. My husband, who is very strong, tried to pull them out to no avail. Help, what's wrong with them. The center is going to work and the side windows are standard window size (36" or so). What's wrong with the side rod? Please tell me how to make the telescope?"

or can flex corner connectors be replaced with finials?"The corner connectors are for the turns in the bay window.. This rod has no option for finials, as the two ends anchor into the wall as support. "I don't see how one can have curtains on the side bays that can cover the center at night. It appears that one would need four panels instead. Yes, you are correct. There are brackets that hold up the rods that would prevent you from sliding a curtain from the side into the center. I use 4 panels. I'm using curtain rings which clip onto the curtains.

"What is the shortest length the side rods can be made? We have a smaller bay window and the side windows are narrow." "I ordered and we installed this rod. I was planning to make rod pocket valences to cover our smallish bay windows. Now we have these 4 brackets sticking out. I do not know how to deal w this. To use the rod pockets I would have to cut holes in the back of the pocket to fit over the brackets. Do you have any ideas? The other idea would be to use rings, but that is not the look I was going for . Please let me know." For assistance with this issue please contact Customer Care at the number below. Hard to find bay window rods in stores they only seem to sell online so have been checking around and found these. "You stated there's another option for a longer middles rod. In reviewing that option it concerns me that it's not the same style as this one.since it looks like a standard window rod. That is also the only one of the 4 sides that has an insert that will allow the elbow to screw in. Did I get two sets that were returned for being faulty??? I've spent hours trying to loosen the sides so they will extend, but with no luck!" Hello jjkansascity, thank you for your inquiry; you will be contacted by Customer Care.
