Interested to hear your compensation policy or what you consider as unreasonable? asked on Nov 08, 2016 Hi, Not sure where you are, but in Canberra its a Minimum 6 months before your blinds arrive (They quote 6 weeks) and then they show up wrong, (too big for the windows, strings on incorrect sides) and they never call you back.....
I hope you have much better luck them I am having!!!!! replied on Dec 12, 2016 We have just had roller blinds fitted in our new house. There is a huge gap in the top between the blind and window frame of around 2.5cm is this normal or do i need to have a pelmet made? asked on Sep 03, 2016 Hi Kim, Thank you for contacting us and assuming that your roller blind is fitted in the recess/reveal of your window, when the roller fabric is rolled up, the bracket has to have enough space to cater to the increased diameter of the fabric on the roller's tube. This however changes when the roller blind gets lowered and its overall diameter gets reduced, thus leaving a gap of approx. 20mm. This is considered normal and should you wish to reduce the amount of light bleed that comes through over the top of the roller tube when lowered and yes, you can consider fitting a pelmet to further control the amount of light bleed. Do talk to our décor consultant on what options would be best for you.
replied on Sep 05, 2016 I have same problem with roller blinds an feel robbed of 900Am very displeased an will never recommend kresta to anybody replied on Nov 03, 2016 Apparently pelmets for the blunds are almost as expensive as the actual blinds. We have also just had two verticals installed. One in our bedroom and ine in the family. The gaps at the side are over 1inch and they don't close as tight as i thought they might. There doesn't seem to be much over hang on the slats. At night you can see through which is not good. I wish i had gone for curtains now replied on Nov 15, 2016 See all 4 answers I have recently had a quote for blinds for my whole house however reading forums here I am quite concerned about the quality of service and time frames given as being misleading. At what point do you take responsibility for, and/or offer complete refunds for extended wait periods? I have been given a time frame of 6 weeks from order to supply & fit which is fine.
What do you consider as being a 'normal' flexibility period either side of this? I will not wait patiently for 3 months if I have been quoted a lead in time of 6 weeks and would expect compensation by way of complete refund if you cannot supply & fit within 8 weeks, would you consider this reasonable?dollar curtains ftg asked on Jul 29, 2016cb2 cityscape shower curtain for sale Dear PJ, Thank you for posting that question to us. the tortilla curtain cornelsen verlagThe printed information regarding our delivery times on your tax invoice quote states, 'approximate' and are indicative subject to fabric availability and then booking an installer to fit them after its manufactured since there can be occasions when an installer is heavily booked out. the tortilla curtain zusammenfassung kapitel
Consumer law regards time frames as being reasonable with no exact indication as to the number of days or weeks, however assuming that there may be times when lead times can stretch longer than it should the décor consultant or staff in our stores would have to advise so. blue curtain falls versuriNaturally, we want to deliver sooner rather than later, being a national company and should there be times when we cannot complete an order in a timely manner, such cases are dealt with by the regional office on a case by case basis since the window coverings that we make for our customers are made to fit specific windows dimensions and in the ordered fabricthermalogic weathermate curtains - 80 x 84 tab-top insulated, hence cannot not possibly be used again. Is it not reasonable to expect with a 6 week lead in time that should there be an indication that the product will not be delivered on time presumably the company would make contact with the purchaser at the first indication and offer options and solutions given the delay is supplier based? Options that would/should include refund of purchase price or option select another fabric etc. I really think this is very company orientated selling and once the consumer has paid for their product the company can take as long as they please to supply without penalty or comeback from the consumer. I Hope that you didn't get blinds through them its been a nightmare!! I am so stressed out I wonder if 12 months later is reasonable waiting time for Kresta!!! and I cant even get a reply from emailing them, calling them..... other then fronting up at the shop I don't know what else to do!!
