tosco black curtains

I saw these in the store and was impressed by the beauty and quality of these curtains. I have been looking for months for curtains that were stylish, practical and affordable; these drapes are all that and more. The fact that they are energy efficient and washable make them even more appealing. Sadly, the photos on the website are quite ugly and I see no option to upload photos. The fabric has a satiny (not suede as noted in the description) look and feel to it with sort of a tight twill weave, and a taupe background with a brownish bronze stylized leaf and medallion pattern, alternating with a dark blue pattern throughout. The blue and the brown-bronze colors vary from dark to light, changing from a paler version of the design to a crisp, dark version across the fabric, which provides extra interest in the design and making it blend with more colors in your decor. (It looks like the blue may be black on the gold ones but the photo is too small and washed out to tell.) As I am in the process of ordering these I reserved one star until I see how they wear.
They actually are stunning curtains and look much more high end than their price. The fault with this item was really with the website. With such small display pictures--which didn't enlarge to any useful degree--it was impossible to know what the panels would look like in actuality. I had to guess; tried to imagine they would look great, but was disappointed when I saw them "in person." The delivery time was excellent, actually faster than promised, but the drapes weren't all that impressive, and I returned them to a local store. They look expense, are well made and were easy to hang. They don't' seem to block ALL the sunlight, maybe 80%. They DO block enough to make a MAJOR difference in the temperature of the room they are in. They arrived quickly to the store, and were on sale, so I received a little money back. However, whoever pulled them from inventory stuck a blue sticker on the material of the drapes that left a sticky spot. The clerk had to gone and find another panel.
Over all, happy with the purchase and the entire experience. It doesn't "black out" the room, but it does keep the room cooler. Theye certainly are beautiful and easy to use. beautiful ombré like pattern in blue. Not complete blackout, Ga sunlight still blazes through. I will buy more panels of the Tosca blue, but I may still need actual black out thermal liners behind them. The Eclipse Tosca makes an impressive presentation. They seem to be quality construction and materials. Not being able to see these in person leads to conceptual issues, however, and we had to return them due to the conflict with other designs in the room, which became apparent only upon hanging them. We bought these for our entire house and was not disappointed. The fabric is beautiful and they block out all of the light too! I would definitely recommend these to anyone! they are great matched the ones i got at the store I have actually noticed that my a/c unit is not kicking on as often and the whole house has stayed cooler!
The curtains have done a remarkable job and the material/make is of a far better quality than I anticipated. Not only do we love the curtain color and design but we are thrilled with the quality of the . The material is great and it really does keep the draft ou . Perfect for small baubles and just gorgeous to look at! Music by Giacomo Puccini Libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa Tosca (Italian pronunciation: [?toska; ?t?ska]) is an opera in three acts by Giacomo Puccini to an Italian libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa. It premiered at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome on 14 January 1900. The work, based on Victorien Sardou’s 1887 French-language dramatic play, La Tosca, is a melodramatic piece set in Rome in June 1800, with the Kingdom of Naples’s control of Rome threatened by Napoleon’s invasion of Italy.
It contains depictions of torture, murder and suicide, as well as some of Puccini’s best-known lyrical arias. Puccini saw Sardou’s play when it was touring Italy in 1889 and, after some vacillation, obtained the rights to turn the work into an opera in 1895. Turning the wordy French play into a succinct Italian opera took four years, during which the composer repeatedly argued with his librettists and publisher. Tosca premiered at a time of unrest in Rome, and its first performance was delayed for a day for fear of disturbances. Despite indifferent reviews from the critics, the opera was an immediate success with the public. Musically, Tosca is structured as a through-composed work, with arias, recitative, choruses and other elements musically woven into a seamless whole. Puccini used Wagnerian leitmotifs (short musical statements) to identify characters, objects and ideas. While critics have frequently dismissed the opera as a facile melodrama with confusions of plot—musicologist Joseph Kerman famously called it a “shabby little shocker”the power of its score and the inventiveness of its orchestration have been widely acknowledged.
