Why Does the Shower Curtain Rod Keep Falling Down? Q: Hi Apartment Therapy! Every few days, the tension rod holding my shower curtain up was falling down. After a while, I figured the springs must have been wearing out so I purchased a new tension rod. This one stayed up for about a day and now it won't stay put for longer than a couple of minutes. The walls are tile and it's a rental, so I can't drill into them. Any ideas on how to make the rod stay up long enough for me a take a shower? lemon curtains argosI pull it out and put it against the wall tightly, twist it but it won't stay tight enough to stay up. Very disappointed in it.If you buy this you better get it right the first time never try to move it. After an hour turning every possible way it's in the trash along with my money and hopefully... not sure what to say, it's a shower curtain rod. works like it's suppose to. Don't waste your money. This rod is supposed to adjust. It adjusts about half an inch then freezes. I don't know if I got a defective rod or something but this rod doesn't like to pull out or push in. So adjusting the length is basically impossible. perfect for my project I am not a fan of this product. To my experience, the design of this rod is more obnoxious to install and less stable once extended than the tension rods that I am used to where...
