Within half an hour the place was practically full so good that we had a reservation. The decor is beautiful and it felt like going back 30 years to an old fashioned family type Italian restaurant, except paper serviettes were... We went to Salieri for a post-theatre dinner. We both had the set menu which was £22 for 2 courses.

I had the sea food salad which was delicious, with chunky seafood and a flavoursome dressing and then we both had the sea bass which was excellent, with lots of new potatoes, carrots etc. My husband had the salmon parcels... Went for lunch with friends and the place looked a bit funky to me. Good fast service and a very delicious tuna with vegetables came up from the set menu which really was lovely and perfectly cooked. My friends had cannelloni and that looked good too. A bit of sheen on the waiting staff would help but overall a good... Had a lovely meal. I booked a table for 5.30pm before we went to see Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre. Literally a 2 minute walk from Theatre. We chose From the A la Carte Menu but could have easily picked from the 2 or 3 course set menu. We had a shared appetiser Mediterranean h'ors d'oeuvres and pasta for... Struggled to find anywhere that didn't have a queue between ,1 and 2 hours. We called into Salieri and went with 2 course set menu, house white at £23 a bottle.

The restaurant was full and is located over two floors with tables down in the basement. We were seated within 5 minutes but the waiter was not the most... We called in here on our anniversary. The CoalHole pub across the road had recommended this place. It appears very theatre orientated with dramatically scenes drawn on walls and decor, but it gives a family run appearance rather than a big chain feel to the restaurant. We visited 830pm and it was very quiet but I think trade is based... Taxi driver recommended this restaurant before we went to the Adelphi theatre just down the road . We were impressed with the fast service and quality of food . It wasn't cheap but it is London , so not surprised . Both of us had the sirloin steak which was great . I had a delicious homemade tiramisu to follow... This has the feel of a family Italian restaurant, even though it is in tourist land. Dropped in for a meal before visiting the Vaudeville Theatre, close by. Attracted by the look of it.
