They come with small drapery hooks and the back of these are so professional tailered with a hook strip across the entire length and has little like "pockets" so to speak that you just have to decide where you want the drapery hooks to be placed, I used 6 and strategically placed them along each panel and then attached my rings. You don't even see the hooks. They hang so wonderfully by the rings and look so fabulous! B Yes, these curtains have a slightly shiny sheen. There beautiful when you use the rings and get that pleated elegant sag from hanging. A valance would take away from the overall look. Hi purchased these curtains that look beautiful in my living and dining rooms. I also purchased my curtains rods that are much like the ones here in the picture at my local ****** store. The ones I bought are The Martha Steward ones. They were also very reasonable. "Is it necessary to iron the curtains before hanging them? How severe are the fold lines from being shipped?" The fold lines are pretty severe. However-totally doable to iron them and well worth the effort. The curtains are stunning. "Love my new eggshell curtains! But how do I hang from hooks?! They came with metal hooks but want to hang them like in the picture using the circle hooks!" The circle hooks can come with a clamp on them. ust put hooks thru the rings that secure the pinch clips...you could remove the pinch clips if it bothered you that they were hanging there. Every eighth place I slipped a pin in and then got rings with metal rings attached to the bottom. Slipped the pins on to the rings and then put them on th rod . P "Is this available in white? However, the lining is a medium gray color and it showed through the fabric a bit so it gave it a gray tone and it also showed the seam of the lining through the fabric. ust wondering how well light is blocked out with the lighter color." I bought 4 panels in eggshell to cover a big bay window in my 3 year old daughter's room. I do not have them flush on the windows; I ran a rod in front of the bay window area and put two panels on each side, so that you would have a recessed area for a small table and chairs. I say this because it could change how dark these panels make the room. Also, I bought 4, which REALLY makes the room look dramatic and darkens it considerably. As for the eggshell color, I'm sure darker curtains would let in less light, but eggshell does a heck of a job. Unless you need total darkness or close to it, these would be just fine in my opinion. These are made beautifully, heavy weighted and look very classy. They are expensive but worth it.
