We have a large selection of furniture and household goods in our shop at Allenby House and a smaller selection in our city centre shop in Arndale House and items in the Tong Street shop. All staff super friendly and helpful. We stayed in for dinner as well as breakfast and the food and service were amazing.

눉The 'mono' tap in the basin had the hot and cold fitted incorrectly so I nearly scalded my hand off. The pillows were a bit hard for me but my main bugbear is the green light over the door which we have been told is a fire/security item. It's so bright that I found it hard to get off to sleep, I'm used to dark in a bedroom at night!눇The staff are lovely. The Wheatley itself overall is really nice. The cooked breakfast was lovely. The room was clean and there was a nice selection of coffee and tea, flapjacks and bottled water all on the house. 눉Bathroom in room 6 a little tight. Would benefit from a sliding door as it took up too much space in a very small bathroom.눇Warm, friendly and hassle free. Bedroom and bathroom floor in room 10 is badly scratched and shower tray leaks over the bathroom floor, radiators and towel rail need bleeding. WiFi is so slow when above floor level as to be virtually non existent. The higher spec rooms at the Wheatley cost more than the nearby Marriott! Quality of rooms needs to reflect this pricing.눇Great location, excellent staff, comfortable beds and handy off street parking. Food is very good as is selection of beer and wine 눉Some grumpy staff, cramped room, poor room layout, some cosmetic improvements required in the room, 30 minutes wait for an iron and had to remind staff that I'd asked for one눇Comfy bed, good breakfast, mostly friendly staff, nice bar and reasonable drink prices
