Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great day.My project today is a fun scene made using the Essentials by Ellen All Inside Die Set and Stamp Set, Impression Obsession Leaves and Stems and Lawn Fawn Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables. The patterned papers are from the Lawn Fawn Let’s Polka in the Meadow paper pack. I stamped the bear with black versafine and sentiment with black versafine and embossed with clear embossing powder.

I used the coordinating die to cut out the bear. I colored the bear with antique linen and vintage photo ink applied using a mini applicator. I sponged tumbled glass on the white scalloped layer to create the sky background. I cut the grass piece using the scalloped die and trimmed the top with deckle scissors and attached to the scalloped base with ATG adhesive. The scalloped layer was attached to the card base with strips of mounting tape. The bear and sun were attached in the scene using mounting tape. I punched out several hearts, attached them to the stems and tucked them in behind the grass and attached with glossy accents. The hearts floating up in the sky were attached with mini glue dots. Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great Sunday. Ranger Accents, Glossy AccentsMy project today was made using the Impression Obsession Large Flourish Background, My Favorite Things Pierced Rectangle Frames and Martha Stewart Hydrangea Punch and 3-in-1 Hydrangea Punch. I love the flourish background and thought it would be so pretty with flowers in all white. I attached the stitched frame to the flourish background with double stick tape and then applied strips of mounting tape and attached it to the card base. I cut a second flourish background and cut out a few of the leafy sprigs to embellish the large flower. I punched several hydrangea petals, formed them with my stylus and molding pad and attached together with glossy accents. I attached the leafy sprigs and large flower with glossy accents. I formed several of the tiny flowers and attached them around the background to add an element of softness. Thanks for coming by today and I hope you are having a great weekend. Impression Obsession Dies, Large Flourish Background My Favorite Things Die-namics, Pierced Rectangle Frames Good Thursday morning and welcome to the Impression Obsession “Love Is In The Air” Challenge. Valentine’s Day is just a few weeks away so I thought I would make a traditional red and white card for Bob and me to send to my mother-in-law. I used the Love Border Word framed using the All-in-One Frames Rectangles 2, Foliage and Tiny Flowers. The red scalloped layer was made using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables. I cut the frames and attached the two frames together using double stick tape and then attached the Love die to the back of the frame. I applied strips of mounting tape to the back of the frame and attached to the red scalloped and white layer. I applied strips of mounting tape to the back of the scalloped frame layer and attached to the card base. I formed the flowers and foliage with my stylus and molding pad. I cut the foliage pieces apart to create the small spray and attached them to the frame with glossy accents.

I cut small leaves off of a foliage piece and attached them with glossy accents in both of the top corners of the frame. I attached the small flowers to the corners and larger arrangement to finish. Why don’t you come along and play with us. To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession Blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing! I hope you will go check out what the other IO teams members created for the challenge. Kittie Caracciolo (that’s me) Impression Obsession Dies, Love Border Word Impression Obsession Dies, All-In-One Frames - Rectangles 2 Impression Obsession Dies, Foliage Impression Obsession Dies, Tiny Flowers Lawn Cuts Dies, Scalloped Rectangle StackablesMy project today was made for the Splitcoaststampers Inspiration Challenge and The Altered Diaries Etsy site is the inspiration this week. I was inspired by a couple of the images.

I liked the flourishes in the Sepia Florals ATC Backgrounds and the vintage flowers in the Paris Green Flowers images. The beautiful floral paper is from the Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments Collection (I think it is retired). I used the Impression Obsession Wrought Iron Fence, Leafy Background and Tiny Flowers to create the gate scene. I used my Nesting Card Templates to create a thin frame border for the side and bottom of the fence gates. I started by cutting the fence sections and a thin 1/8” frame. I wanted to create a more substantial border for the fence sections so I cut the frame in half, applied 1/8” double stick tape to the back of it and attached each section to the side and bottom of the fence sections. I trimmed the frame on both the top and bottom to fit. I applied 1/8” double stick tape to the back of the fence side and attached them to the card base. I like to find more than one way to use my dies if possible. The Leafy Background is so pretty to cover a whole card front but I out the foliage sections to use as trailing flowers and foliage for the fence.

I formed the tiny flowers using the stylus and molding pad from Susan’s Garden Tool Kit. I randomly attached the flowers to the vines using glossy accents. Then I placed dots of glossy accents to a few key places on the back of the fine sections and attached them to the fence. I was careful to not let any of the glossy accents to stick on the floral paper so I could open the keep the gates free to open. I added a little bling to the floral paper and some of the tiny flower centers by attaching Sparkling Clear sequins. I have to laugh a little at myself. I have never used sequins on my projects until recently. I have fallen in love with the touch of sparkle. Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have a great weekend.
