eclipse curtains canova

High to low rating Low to high rating The color is great, a warm rich red tone and they keep the light and noise outside, they block both very good. We are very happy with these, they are as discribed, they are great, good quality. Keeps the cold drafts at bay!! These curtains are just great and block out 100% of the daylight. I had to put them in a cool dryer to get the wrinkles out before I put them up. I like the drapes but don't love them. I didn't know they would have a shine to them since it does not show up in the on line picture. The color is not as pretty as the picture either. However, they drapes are a nice weight, keep out a lot, but not all the light and noise and I'm tired of looking for the perfect drapes so I'm keeping them. They look more expensive than they were and I can live with that until Spring then I'll look back at your site for new ones. I'll start by saying it probably would block more light in a darker color, but I purchased the river blue shade and they are an extremely light and neutral blue.

I had to cover a patio door with vertical blinds that gets the full sun from 6AM to noon and I work night shifts, so my quality of sleep was pretty poor. These have cut downnnnn let's say somewhere around 50~60% of the light and have made it much more tolerable and I've slept much better! Not a total blackout by any means, but it did significantly dampen the light coming in. They have the polyester rubbery backing on them you need to be careful washing, but otherwise the fabric has a nice texture and weight to it and they're a really nice color. They're much lower in price to a lot of other blackout curtains in other stores and do seem to work better! My husband suggested that we get energy-efficient curtains (smart man!) for the bedroom as it is somewhat drafty in the winter. We chose mineral blue, thinking 'blue,' but it's really between a pale green and a light blue - really, more on the pale green side, but we tend towards rusts / browns, tans on comforters, so we were not disappointed.

When they arrived, like any other curtains, they were wrinkled but nothing that a warm (not steam) iron couldn't take care of, and they looked great. We don't have a washer / dryer so weren't too keen on taking them to a laundromat, as was suggested, on low / no heat to remove the wrinkles.
posh curtains thrissurI think I still would have had to iron them anyway, so why not skip a step.
pinch pleated curtains toronto I like the 63" because it's well below the window sill yet above the baseboard.
eclipse curtains canova They really have made a difference in keeping the cold out - good test: we had single digit temperatures here and it's only November!

Also keeps out much of the light (not completely, but makes it easier to sleep in on Saturday). Will be purchasing some tie-backs and accessories later, only because we have an AC in one of those windows. Good choice and very happy with the quality of these curtains. These curtains are well made and well insulated. I put them in the dryer on low with a damp towel which removed most of the package creases. I then ironed them to remove the rest of the wrinkles. When hung they look great! The color, River Blue, is a sort of grayish blue-green....not a true light blue. The color works for the room though. As other reviews mentioned, the fabric is quite shiny, but is high quality and the curtains look much more expensive that the price....a great value! I would not hesitate to recommend them. I ordered these curtains in ivory online and was really disappointed in how the material looked when I received them. It was much shinier than I had anticipated, and didn't do a much better job at blocking the light than the curtains I already had.

I will be returning them. Have bought these type curtains before and was well pleased with material and the fact it does block the light out well. Not 100% of light blocked, but these are room darkening -- not black out curtains. Good value for the money.
