While they are blackout, there were some spots that looked like pin holes where light was getting through, which made it look... Great price and blocks out totally. I still have to use a steam iron to get out some wrinkles...no they don't go away with hanging.They do blackout the light completely, except for the FOUR small holes I found once I hung them up.
