I have always been interested in sewing and working with fabrics from a very youngThis comes from my nanna, who worked in the cotton mills in Lancashire as aAlso my Aunty Jenny who had her own business in Yorkshire, making curtains… its in the blood! In my 20’s I had my first child and money was tight, so I made curtains for our living room… that’s where it all started! As family and friends asked to have things made, word spread and other people would ask if I could make curtains and blinds for them.  

Soon our living room was turned into my sewing room.  This lasted a couple of years, but my husband had had enough! He wanted his living room back. In December 2007 I opened my first shop on Croft Court in Wigton. That was very quickly outgrown, as the customer base grew rapidly.  I was then able to move to bigger premises on the High Street, then yet again we have moved to bigger premises on Westmorlands I am very proud to say that we have built a really good reputation.   are very loyal and come back time and time again (our customers started off as justThis has grown to customers from all areas of Cumbria, but as far afield as London & Glasgow).
