HOW TO FIND US By Car Travelling from the south on the A93, follow the road to the centre of Ballater and turn right on to Victoria Road. Deeside Inn sits on the left hand side of the road. From Aberdeen and the east, follow the A93 into Ballater, driving alongside the River Dee on Tulloch Road. At the end of Tulloch Road, turn right on to Bridge Street, then take a left turn into Victoria Road, where Deeside Inn sits on your left.
By Train and Bus The nearest rail and bus stations to Deeside Inn are located in Aberdeen. The new Post 16 Education Centre jointly developed by Coleg Cambria, local schools and Flintshire County Council will provide state-of-the-art facilities and a broader curriculum of choice for Post 16 learners in Flintshire. The facility will provide an inspirational learning experience for up to 700 students in a centralised location between Coleg Cambria's Deeside site and Connah's Quay High School. The three-storey building includes specialist performing arts, music, science and creative arts facilities as well as general teaching classrooms and social and private study spaces. Accessed from a newly formed entrance from Golftyn Lane, the scheme includes staff and visitor car parking as well as a coach park area to serve the wider Coleg Cambria site. A BREEAM assessment uses recognised measures of performance, which are set against established benchmarks, to evaluate a building's specification, design, construction and use. The measures used represent a broad range of categories and criteria from energy to ecology. They include aspects related to energy and water use, the internal environment (health and well-being), pollution, transport, materials, waste, ecology and management processes. The Post 16 Education Centre is a registered site with the Considerate Constructors Scheme
