After leaving ADS at the age of 18 he went to complete his studies at the Urdang Academy and has since been in Fame, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolar Dreamcoat UK Tour, Oklahoma Uk Tour and Oliver The Musical as an actor/dancer. Even the pigeon holes have been bleached, curtains fixed, so we are all ready for ADS St. Trinian's to arrive....Armley Dance StudiosAnother year, ballet bars, mirrors, leotards, costumes,props,training,laughter,highs and lows, tired bodies, fitness, stretch, competitions, exams, travel, chit chat mums, taxi dads, shifting gym mats, chalky floors, tap shoe beats, music, tea urn, need a water, get diary out, look at notice board, ring that bell class time to start, lost a shoe, Iv lost my jkt, I left my bra, I left my homework, turn heating up, no turn it down, make up on, tu tu too small, I'm starving mum, no you can't have... Comps at 8.15 am no way, still at comps after 10pm yawn.. Iv run out of charge, smelly socks, smelly shoes, lost my bobble, late for school, but early for dance, give us a twirl it all goes on , don't change we love you as you are.
H.N.Y see you all soon xArmley Dance Studios added 2 new photos.It might be a holiday break for some but here is Charlotte Radcliffe an ex pupil who starts rehearsals today for a 12 month contact as a singer/dancer on the Thompson Sprit Cruise Liner. Charlotte always loved singing and dancing and joined Ads at 9. She had many successful competition places, plus championship positions. She performed at the International Theatre awards in both ballet and tap. At 16 she auditioned for the famous Italia Conti Academy of Arts and gained a place on a full Dada award for her training. In July 2016 she graduated. All the best Charlotte on your very exciting contract well deserved. Your passion for performance was always evident along with your brilliant singing skills. Don't you just love a dancing sprout.Armley Dance StudiosSome pupils we teach are so honourable and appreciative of the hours we spend with them, training and mentoring them from young dancers into mature adults. But here is a special young lady Charlotte Garfit almost too modest of her life at ads. Quiet and yet immeasurably talented in all subjects. Always kind and thoughtful too. She danced at the Miss Dance of Great Britain final twice. Won championship titles and performed at the IDTA International Awards quite a few tim...es, along with a life time of competitions.
Tonight she collected adv 2 modern with 92 marks and another IDTA International Theatre recommendation for 2017. But life moves on as our dancers grow up and become individuals with a mindset to do other things. Charlotte we wish you the very best in your future adventurous plans to travel. Maybe you will send us some pics of a grand jete along the Australian coast or your gymnastic balances in far off places.... You have been a model pupil and a pleasure to teach. It's a farewell but in the fondest way. Thank you for the gift of beautiful flowers and bottle and a very heart warming message. Remember our ads saying 'Be yourself and go be you' we will keep rocking, twirling and whirling and hope more doubles of you walk through our studio doors. All the very best from all Ads.
