The only reason we're giving this 4 stars is because we split our time between this and Hermitage Bay on Antigua. We were greeted right from when we got off the plane right before passport control and directed through customs and to our car where the friendly driver drove us in a very comfortable luxury sedan to the resort. Check in was painless and they accommodated an early check in 3 hours early! The junior suite, room 6 was very spacious and had nice decor. Our favourite part was being able to hear the waves and go to the water anytime we wanted. It was a beautiful turquoise blue with a hammock right outside and the sand was soft and powdery. The room had well thought out amenities (the little stone basins with water to clean off our feet, for e.g.). Very comfortable and spacious bed, large bathroom. Room service was prompt and they provided more than we asked for. The only weird thing was that room service was only offered during meal hours. Food was decent and the dinner menu changed daily.

Breakfast could have extended beyond 930 am though, given people were on holiday and would have liked to sleep in. Wish they could have also accommodated requests for fresh fruit juices. All in all, very good stay. 392 reviews sorted by: Spent five days at Curtain Bluff and it was one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever been on. The beach is beautiful and you can snorkel for shells right in the shallow water. I love that the price included all water sports as part of the package. The food was excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful and the spa treatments are fabulous. The one tiny downside is that the pool is a bit on the smaller side but honestly, the beach and ocean are so clean and beautiful, we spent really no time at the pool. I would go back tomorrow if I could! We had an awesome week at Curtain Bluff. Let me just start by saying that. Of course there are a few areas of improvement, but I'd absolutely recommend this resort. From the second you get off the plane, the resorts reps are waiting for you.

They help you navigate through customs, the airport, baggage claim and transportation. The ride to the resort is about 40 minutes, but it's a nice ride. Upon arrival, you are greeted as if you had just returned home. Cold lemony towels to refresh you and nothing to really sign. You're given a tour, a key and you can start relaxing. The staff is helpful, friendly and aim to please. There are beachfront rooms and rooms up on the bluff. At first I thought being on the bluff was the way to go but knowing we like to play catch and prolong our beach time we were happy with room 10 right on the beach and within steps of everything. The beach and the water are spectacular. One VERY IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW that honestly freaked me out for a bit…there are no TV's in the rooms. There are two on the property but after trying to find ESPN for the Final Four and getting frustrated, we gave up. While the WiFi on the property is truly remarkable, none of the US WATCH APPS work so it was Netflix and Books.

Not a bad thing, but wish I'd known going in. (not the resorts fault, my travel agent is to blame) The food is phenomenal. I've never had such good food at an all inclusive resort. There are only 2 restaurants but the menu changes daily and I didn't have one bad bite the entire trip.
curtain rods seashell finialsLots of healthy options and always a vegetarian option as well.
concealed tab blackout curtainsI loved that there was staff on the beach all day for drinks and clean-up.

There's never a reason to get to the beach early to block off chairs as there are always plenty and all locations are good ones. The beach has hobie cats, paddle boards, tubing, rafts, windsurfing and snorkeling all included.

walmart scooby doo curtainsThis is a pretty small resort and you really get a lot of service for your money.
blackout curtains eggplantWhat I will say, is that the resort could use a refresh. The lobby/bar area could use a makeover. It feels very 70's to me. The water pressure is low, but the water stayed hot. AC and fans in rooms were great. Shelley the owner came around during dinner at The Tamarind every night which is a lovely touch.

There's stuff to do outside the resort but we never took advantage of it at all. I'd say I'd come back to Curtain Bluff, but the TV thing was definitely an issue for us. Again, had I known in advance, I could have prepared a bit better. If TV isn't an issue for you, BOOK IT. Room Tip: The rooms on the beach are amazing. While rooms on the bluff have a great view, the proximity to eve...Reliable and very friendly service. And it's a hotel with a very personal touch. Very obviously not part of a boring hotel chain. It's quirky....in a good way. Would certainly go back. We have looked at Curtain Bluff over the years but this was our first visit. After spendingfive glorious days there, our first comment was "we should have come sooner". Our second comment is "how soon will we return". The resort has all the amenities for a relaxing beach vacation. Our upgraded room (junior suite) was spacious and luxurious with a full ocean view. The beaches, the water sports activities/equipment, the water sports staff were all excellent.

The dining room, food, and beverages were what you would expect at a high end all inclusive resort; Most importantly, the ambiance of the resort was outstanding. The service was friendly, courteous, and efficient. No request was ignored and every need was anticipated. When we were there, the most guestswere over 50 and from a variety of international countries. We would recommend Curtain Bluff at the top of our list for a romantic, relaxing, comfortable, and low key beach vacation. Amazing property with superb staff all around. Very welcoming environment for children without being too much. Gorgeous food, fun activities and great tennis/squash facility. Beach is excellent too with calm water for swimming on one side of the bluff but ocean waves to lull you to sleep. We really enjoyed the open rooms to sleep in the breeze. CB is laid back luxury in the Caribbean. I returned last night after staying at Curtain Bluff for 6 nights. First impressions are that the hotel is in need of a few upgrades.

Firstly we had 2 rooms a deluxe and junior suite. To say that the deluxe is a deluxe room is a little bit of a joke. It is a basic room with either a king or 2 twins. The upside is that every room has a fabulous view of the ocean. However, the resort its self is more like an exclusive club. Virtually every guest we spoke to had been vacationing here for many many years. The inclusive part is done very very well. The meals are not 5 star but definitely 4 star. Breakfast is al la carte (you never get that at an all-inclusive) and lunch is either a buffet on the beach or a limited menu. Dinner is at the Tamarind Restaurant most nights but you do have the option to eat at the beach restaurant The Sea Grape once a week. There is always 4 or 5 entree's to choose from. There is a nightly band making for great fun with the dancing and singing. The water sports being included is also a great plus. We were there with 2 teenagers who throughly enjoyed waterskiing, snorkeling and sailing all at no extra cost!
