Recent reviewsGood 3.9 /5 from 255 reviewsFirst with the good: Upon walking in I thought this would be a good place to stay, the rooftop lounge and pool was very appealing to me. The breakfast buffet was very good and had good variety. Now with the bad: I am not someone who is prone to allergies at all, except when I'm in a place that's dirty! Everytime I walked in the room I got the worst allergies, itchy throat and nose, runny nose, watery eyes. There was either dust, dirty bed spreads, or maybe even mold in that room, without a doubt. As soon as I walked out it went away! I asked for a room change and they said there were none available, but said they would do a deep cleaning (which didnt work).
The customer service was not good! The lady at the reception desk was not friendly, and not helpful at all. When we asked about the mini fridge which was locked she said, "I'll ask maintenance about it tomorrow." Overall, won't be returning. We switched to Dominican Fiesta and it was the best thing we could have done.The bed is oldGreat stay, wish it could have been longer. Definitely will be back again there. Great friendly service other up front at desk and very caring nice people in the restaurant. Awesome breakfast buffet the and super rooftop pool with hot tubs, and bar overlooking the city!! The room was very nice and comfortable for our family of 3. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The only drawback is that the hotel is a little hard to find from the street. However, once we found it, we enjoyed it.We had reserved a superior suite, (smoking) with 2 queen beds. Not only did the check in take over 15 minutes as the front desk was on the phone throughout our check in !
