It's a very thin rug so it would do well under a dining table. The grey color in the rug looks blueish under certain lighting. In a house full of dogs, I was concerned about how light the color of this rug is. However the background has tiny brown speckles which help hide dirt. The funky design fits perfectly with the slightly offbeat decor of our park model. The carpet, although I thought was a bit pricey for its size, is nice. It adds a nice touch to my coastal/rustic theme I have going. Do note that it almost looks faded or dusty, so if you're looking for something with stronger colors this is not the carpet for you. Added some light to our apartment We got this rug with a new couch to make our small apartment a little brighter. Seems nice, easy to clean. I am really pleased with my purchase. I didn't know what to expect when I had originally purchased the rug. It was just what I needed to finish off decorating my condo. I love the pop of color that it has added. Very timely, considerate, and good schedule. Products were available sooner than expected. I have purchased dining room table and chairs, two sofas, one love seat, and two rugs each with mats. All department sales people know their product and provided accurate information. Very easy to shop. This is a beautiful rug. It does shed some initially but that's to be expected. I bought the rug to go with the Thompson couch and they look perfect together. The rug fits perfect I have 2 little dogs and the rug cleans up I purchased this rug for my living room and it work out well. It is a great quality rug for the price. The color is awesome I love this runner so much I purchased two for my very long hallway. Our interior colors are gray and white. This runner looks so awesome with our decor.
