The location was perfect and the hospitality was off the charts. John steered us to a perfect birding spot and introduced us to the museum which was fascinating. John is very knowledgeable about the history of Ocean City, which provided interesting discourse at breakfast.
The bikes were a perfect mode of transportation and being there in mid May allowed us to bike on the boardwalk all day. jcpenney curtain bracketsThe food was good too – especially the eggs that John madekirsch curtain rod extension Lot's of Bang for the Bucks !!!thermal curtain lining john lewis on August 10, 2013curtains electrical kinsale This is a true Bed and Breakfast experience from the time you get there and are greeting by the Owner/Operators with friendly smiles, asking how our trip was, a tour of the house, what is happening event wise in Ocean City. circo stripe shower curtain

There were other options for suites and larger room's although I would get the same room again because the house is large, well appointed with nice, comfortable sitting room, dining area, billiard room, and ample outside, rooftop deck with Whirlpool, patio, and covered porch area. All of which got a tour of my the Owners upon arrival. The breakfast was a culinary delight with warm tasty baked muffins, fresh ripe fruit, coffee, juice, and a very tasty different gourmet hot meal each morning all served by the owners, and staff.
This was one of the best B & B experiences that I have ever had. Located close to the Boardwalk/Beach in a nice area of OC, and extremely well priced, Worth a Return Visit! on July 23, 2009 Great place, very clean, wonderful owners and staff. Convenient walk to Beach and shops, or use bikes offered for free by the owners. This home was totally gutted before all new renovations were done. It is pristenely maintained and just a pleasant environment to be in. on April 07, 2009 My friend and I stayed at Northwood on two occassions. The first time, John phoned in reservations for us at the Inlet and we got superior service in addition to a great breakfast and wonderful hospitality. On our second visit, Marge was our hostess. Marge was great...providing a super breakfast and a selection of DVDs to choose from for our evening entertainment. on October 15, 2008 We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Marj and John were very accommodating. The food was excellent and the fruits were farm fresh.
We will be back for another weekend getaway. on September 27, 2008 This was a satisfactory first experience staying at a B&B. I wanted to stay somewhere more cozy than a hotel. The room & private bath was very clean. I rated the room at 'met expectations' because it was just as the pictures showed..a little bigger would had been better for me. The rooftop hot tub is perfect for stargazing after a long day. I consider it a more modern B&B. You won't find any stuffy, overlaced rooms w/horrible wallpaper here! We actually did not take advantage of the breakfast. We preferred to sleep in & our privacy was respected. You will love it here. on August 25, 2008 If you are looking for a wonderful B&B in Ocean City, look no further. The Northwood Inn is a lovely refinished old Victorian home that is cozy and comfortable. Marg and John are wonderful owners and they take such great care of their guests. bikes you can take out for a ride, beach chairs for your use, a roof top whirlpool spa and a
pool table, just to name a few things. The breakfasts are always the best and so delicious. We look forward to our yearly visit and always have the best time. Best B&B in OC on August 24, 2008 I've been coming to Ocean City since childhood with my family and this was my first stay at a B&B. My husband and I loved everything about the Northwood Inn--wonderful hosts, Marj and John, a fabulous location (never used our car once), rooftop hot tub, massages on site, and much more. John even recommended a place to get a haircut that turned out great! We'll definitely stay there again if we don't rent a house next summer. Relaxed elegance, genuine friendliness on May 17, 2008 My wife Marie and I first visited The Northwood ten years ago and have spent many enjoyable summer weeks/brief getaways there since. Before our first visit, we toured several of the nicer B&Bs in O.C. What we noticed then, and what we've appreciated ever since, is the uncommon combination of class/style and a completely relaxed atmosphere.
John/Marj are the best possible hosts---extremely friendly and accommodating, engaging conversationalists, and very laid back. If invited, John will share his rich knowledge of OC history---he's a born storyteller---and Marj's breakfast creations are unique and delicious; both are delightful people. One of the small details I particularly love about the Northwood is the breakfast arrangement---a bright, cozy area where pleasant chat always abounds, but without a strictly regulated seating time or required communal dining. There are individual tables, but they're in close enough proximity to allow the opportunity to meet new people---and the Northwood has a knack for attracting an interesting and down to earth collection of guests---total absence of the stuffiness you sometimes find elsewhere. We immediately felt at home here and nothing has changed. Great people, great place to kick back and get refreshed. Outstanding Top To Bottom on April 13, 2008 Simply stated its just a beautiful home.
