Life at Wadhurst Manor Care Home Ensuring that we deliver high quality care to those we support isn’t our only priority here – we also want to offer excitement and, most importantly, to ensure that everyone feels at home. That is why we employ trained staff who are committed to delivering a stimulating activities programme and nutritious cuisine, which are supplemented by services and facilities that are designed to make life here as pleasant as possible. Here to help you make the right decision about your care requirements All new residents coming into the home are given a very special welcome by the staff, and their rooms are decorated to make it feel like they have brought a little bit of their own home into this new environment. As well as the lovely surroundings, the staff in the home try to make each day unique (even more so on special occasions, such as birthdays and anniversaries). There is always an excuse for a get together, even if it is just for a morning coffee or a cup of tea in the afternoon.

We recognise residents' individuality and understand the importance of them making their own decisions when it comes down to their daily lives. Welcome to Wadhurst Manor, my name is Sue and I am Operations Manager supporting the home at present. I am a registered nurse with a background of orthopaedics and have been working in care for the elderly and dementia care over the last 25 years. I have a diploma in Management and my CIPD HR qualification. I have been in a management role for the last 30 years. I feel very strongly that our residents should receive a high standard of care and respect. We always aim to deliver bespoke care to those who live at our home. We tailor our services to meet the unique requirements of each person and in a way that celebrates their individuality, whilst also helping residents to maintain as much independence as possible and treating them with dignity at all times. Nursing care is for people who need a qualified nursing care team available to them 24 hours a day.
