The Staff Council Activities Committee is connecting staff with the not-for-profit Nuestras Raices for a Day of Service on May 6. If you are a full-time staff member, the college will pay you for one day of volunteer work per year.
You must obtain prior approval from your supervisor to attend. The full day of volunteering will help to bring community gardens in Holyoke back to life. Space is limited to 12 staff members. Facilities Management provided the following statement regarding the "bumping" process: Facilities Operations recently went through a series of job changes to provide better service to our customers and improve efficiencies. Local 263 staff just completed a bid/bump exercise as part of this change.
Starting the week of September 21st, staff began moving into their new assignments. Please note that not all staff were impacted by this exercise, but there were several staff changes.
