Quello dei Blue è stato per noi uno dei progetti di maggior successo:  oltre 1.000.000 di copie vendute nel nostro Paese tra album, singoli e DVD in soli 3 anni, un Team che ha coinvolto sui nostri forum decine di migliaia di persone, consacrando definitivamente le attività di Street Team e Web Community nel nuovo millennio. L’avventura con Lee Ryan, Duncan James, Simon Webbe e Antony Costa,  ebbe inizio a fine 2002 con l’uscita del singolo “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” (feat. Elton John), seguito dalla super Hit “One Love” ad inizio 2003.

Fu uno dei classici progetti in cui si incontra una sostanziale resistenza da parte di Radio e TV, ma grazie alla passione dei fan che vengono a conoscenza del gruppo attraverso internet ed un inarrestabile passaparola, la band in pochi mesi diventa l’incontrastato fenomeno teen del nuovo millennio. Il videoclip di “One Love” raggiunge in pochi giorni la numero 1 di MTV TRL, da li a poco si crea una forte sinergia col programma, dando vita ad una serie di iniziative da capogiro. Seguono nuovi singoli di grande successo, tra cui “You Make Me Wanna”, “Guilty”, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I’m Yours”, “Breathe Easy”… realizzata anche in versione italiana (“A chi mi dice”) con il testo scritto da Tiziano Ferro, “Bubblin’”, “Curtain Falls” e “Only Words I Know”. Il Team in questi anni riesce ad organizzare decine di Meet&Greet con la band, viaggi a Londra per i loro concerti, edizioni speciali degli Album fatte con le foto dei fan italiani (con servizio fotografico a casa di una fan per la realizzazione dell’intero art work del disco, copertina e libretto!!), eventi esclusivi  e gadget incredibili (come aperitivi all’Hard Rock Cafè di Roma riservati ai fans più attivi

, e dischi d’oro e di platino sempre per i fans). I Blue sono sinonimo di delirio: che si tratti di incomparabili polemiche sui forum, assalti durante le loro apparizioni pubbliche (come non ricordare l’evento in vetrina alle Messaggerie Musicali di Milano), accoglienze senza precedenti (Piazza Duomo gremita di persone in occasione della loro partecipazione a MTV TRL), clamorosi “pacchi” a programmi TV (comprese due puntate del Festivalbar)… tutto nel Mondo dei Blue era esponenziale.cocoa flower blue and brown fabric shower curtain by triangle home fashions I Blue si fermano nel 2005 (seppur non è mai stato ufficializzato il loro scioglimento) per dare il via ai rispettivi progetti solisti. curtain 72x96Nonostante questo il Forum dei Blue  viene mantenuto online nel nostro network, come tributo a quel fantastico periodo e per tenere viva la speranza di rivedere un giorno di nuovo insieme Lee, Duncan, Simon ed Antony, cosa avvenuta poi con “Roulette”, l’album che segna il ritorno sulle scene musicali della band.white weathermate curtains
