Joe Walsh"No Man's Land" is a piece of music I wrote for a documentary called "Citizen Soldier.” Basically a Unit of the Oklahoma National Guard was called-up for duty ...in Afghanistan, with no warning or preparation. This is their story- thru their eyes taken with their own Go-Pro video cameras. They were placed deep into enemy territory - in "Harm's Way,” fought heroically, and not all of them made it home. The documentary is profound and affected me so deeply - I decided to be involved and wrote music for it. This is a forgotten war that continues as I write this text. Everyday our soldiers are killed or gravely wounded. The surviving troops are coming home broken and shattered. Please watch the documentary.
