However, since the corded adapter I previously had got stolen, I was forced to invest in this so I can play music from my phone because my radio stations rarely work (not that I would like them anyways). Beside the point... this device actually works. I can sync my phone no problem, basically auto connects which is a must since i frequently get in and out of my car and sometimes other systems are a pain to keep reconnecting each time. - cannot charge while using. I had it connected and stuck the tape in, just spit it right back out. I held the tape in with my finger, the system auto switched to radio.If I'm riding with the music low so I can talk to others in the car, or I'm parked somewhere I can hear the sounds of the tape playing. Music needs to be loud to drown it out. Decent quality although, in order to get the best quality out of this, you need to remove the clear plastic film that covers the tape head and give it a good cleaning. At first I was getting very poor quality and audio only out of the right speakers but this was when i had the tape inserted with the THIS SIDE UP.
When I flipped it over so that side was facing down, that's when I got the best quality. Maybe it's just my tape deck. It auto pairs upon insertion and it connects fast. It even turns off when you turn the car off and turns itself on when the car turns back on. The only complaints I have with this is that you can't keep it charging while listening it, there are no battery indicator lights which show battery level, that it's charging or that it's fully charged. Other than that, it's a good device. Now we are able to. Answer phones and keep our hands on wheel. I wanted this for my 04 MB ML 350 because it had no wires. I'm happy with the way it works. Turn on radio set iPhone an I have music. I've ordered another one when battery needs charged I can still listen while I'm charging one. The problem I've had is I have to help it out of the Cassette player it just doesn't ejected. I have to insert charge cable an pull it out. It's a good product when it works but each time I need to connect I have to take the tape off turn the switch off-on-off to reconnect, really inconvenient.
