Q: My sister sewed two large curtains for privacy, to cover a huge street-level window in her last apartment. When she moved (...to a place with even bigger windows....) she passed them on to me.

I wanted to use them for my living room where there is a bay window. They are wide enough run left to right with a yard to spare… however, two curtains means I could only have one curtain rail and so that rail would have to bend: I considered using copper pipe (especially since angled pipe connectors would solve the "bend" issue)… anchoring the pipe/curtain rail at the far ends, and then in the middle of the center window where the curtains would meet… however, I become nervous to try it because there were no products out there that catered to this issue it made me think perhaps this just wouldn't work.... Other than cutting the curtains to make two smaller panels for the middle window…. Is there a rail alternative that I'm missing, or do I need to stop trying to make two curtains work for this window?
