I don't understand how that happens on a waterproof shower curtain, and sent out to the masses. I also followed up & read the reviews for the same product (a few dollars more) on Target's website. The same negative feedback - the item is dirty/stained. With so many buyers reporting the same problem, I don't understand why the product is still being sold, not discontinued, or recalled, & buyer's monies not automatically refunded. Dirt/stains are never acceptable. I ask that Wal-mart tighten up on quality control, & follow up with multiple negative reviews stating the same problem - dirt/stains. Overall, I have been pleased with my purchases from Wal-Mart, however, there have been recent orders that do not come up to par. Sad. Additionally, some items have arrived in oversized packaging, with rolls & rolls of cumpled up paper. It leaves a huge footprint, and creates multiple trips to the dumpster. Hoping to see improvements. The price on this item was cheaper than what I found in-store at Ace Hardware.
My local Ace has specialty items others don't have (scented candles for example) because it's in a trendy area of town. The problem is that you can see what you're getting in-store and pick a good curtain. I got mine shipped Site-To-Store and noticed it was stained all over. The black part somehow transferred color and marks onto the white part. I can see circles of black from where the metal grommets were (wasn't rust transferred, but the grommets pressed against the black dye). I don't think the curtain itself was the problem, but maybe some clear chemical leaked onto the package. I noticed the sticker looked like it had clear oily (but dried) chemical stains. If this were not stained, it would be a so-so quality curtain. It is not thin (in my opinion) as the other reviewer made it sound. It's a thick polyester - which almost feels like a nylon. Seems like it would be very water resistant (but I did not actually try it since I knew I would have to return it). The sewing is just okay.
Not bad, but not great. The price, had this been in keepable condition, was a deal compared to other retailers. Interdesign makes good shower curtains most of the time and puts resistant metal grommets in most of their button holes on top. Shower curtain great in theory but white area has very noticable stains that are permanent. I bought this in the "blue" color, which is in fact NOT blue. I wanted a more sea foam green curtain, and since that's what it looks like in the picture, I took my chances and ordered it. It is definitely a sea foam green color. Mine did not come dirty as some other reviewers stated. The hem of mine is, however, longer on one side. It's not a huge difference and I'm sure most people wouldn't even notice, so I decided to keep it. It really brightens up the bathroom. Very cheap material even for $20. Feels like it should have cost 5 bucks plus it arrived dirty and I've washed it twice and can't get it clean. It's going back - sorry Walmart...
