Thanks for your advice! Personally, I would only hang 2 at the most. The pendant is large. If you have a large open kitchen, they will look nice. ikea emeryville curtainsI have one hanging on our entrance hall with a 14ft. ceiling and it's perfect. I have a 96" island with 10' ceilings. 2 is enough...these are large. I'm afraid the 3rd might be overkill. They do make a flushmount style with a shorter chain...perhaps you have a nook somewhere in your kitchen area that you could add one if you really want the 3rd fixture. "Can the chain be bent?
