The Chyp charity shop To help fund its operations, Chyp also runs a charity shop, staffed by volunteers, selling everything from furniture to second hand books and bric- a brac.

How to find us Opening times are 10am until 4pm Monday to Saturday Donations of goods gratefully received between the hours of 10.30 and 3.30 on these days. We accept white goods in good working order but I’m afraid we cannot accept computers or TVS. Please note: We do accept soft furnishings or upholstered furniture but they must have fire regulation labels. The Chyp shop plays an important role in other ways as well so for funding.  It provides an important opportunity for work experience for some of the young people we support, helping them build their confidence in an environment they know and trust. We also sometimes provide clothes from the shop for young people to attend interviews and items for them when they are setting up their own homes, such as furniture,  towels, curtains and kitchen equipment.
