I bought 3 sets of these to do my entire living room in and we love them! They do not look cheap at all! My family came over for the first time since I hung the curtains last week and I had several comments on them! They are similar to our room darkening curtains just a tad bit more shear. We bought them to hopefully help with our electric bill because our living room has sunlight from morning til afternoon! They definitely help block light! We will see about the bill when we get it, but we have noticed the house staying cooler and the A/C not running as much!

I'm actually totally surprised because these worked even better than what I was expecting!! I posted a picture of before we had curtains and after we put them up mid day. Both pics were taken with no lights inside the house on. I wish I could upload more pics of them at night! You can't see out or in. I do have shades also! Hope this was helpful!! I am very happy with the 2 pr of white and 2 pr of black 84" long curtains I bought. the white prs came about 4 days after ordering and they were sent out of GA. The black prs took 2 days longer and were shipped from NY. I live in VA. The white prs were sent USPS at our local post office, the black prs were delivered by Fedex today. Alittle confusing but they got here in a timely manner. The package the curtains were in describes the material as 'sailcloth'...maybe that is the same as duck. I think duck is alittle thicker, but these curtains are wonderfully made and just the right weight/thickness for me! After reviewing comments, I decided to order a pr of black for each window --I have 2 windows in this spare bedrm-- and a pr of white for each window, giving the effect of fullness and mixture of black and white on each window.

*check out my 2 pictures...and so does my hubby! Bought these to match the rug I also purchased from Walmart and it was a perfect color match. The color matches the pictures. They arrived a day ahead of schedule which also made me happy. They arrived in perfect condition. They allow a little bit of light through but that is what I wanted, but they also block enough light so that you don't have a ton of sunshine beaming through your windows. The material is good quality and washable. They look good hanging like in the picture or tied back like I have them. For this price you can't go wrong. These pics show the curtains and carpet... recommend both I bought 3 packages if these curtains for my living room windows. I have curtains up that are very see through and I needed something that could give us privacy but still let the sun through during the day. These work perfect for me and I love them. The color in the picture was spot on, but the fabric is thin and light weight. It doesnt fall correctly against the window, flares like a skirt at the bottom.

The color is beautiful, but does not darken the room quite enough. Walmart has great "blackout " and "room darkening" curtains. Next time i will go in store and stick with what i know. It took alot of work to get it to look nice. Please be aware that the product description says that each panel is only 28 inches wide. This is VERY NARROW! They are a joke. The picture shows more like it is four panels or that each panel is 56" wide. When you gather these panels so that they hang properly they would only actually be 14" wide. The picture makes them look much wider than they really are! It's like they took a normal width panel and cut it in half and are selling it as two. Whenever you buy panels you need to figure the width of the panel then at least double the width in order to get a proper gathering. These panels are like the samples they have in the store..you know the ones that are very narrow and are only a piece of the panel. Look for the panels that each panel is 54" wide. They will look better on your window and gather properly.

Don't bother with these unless you want to buy so many panels and have all the separation between each panel. I purchased the "tangerine" color thinking of a subdued orange. It's vibrant - almost takes over the room and we'll be returning. I might be able to get used to the color eventually but now the size. States 56 x 63. Well most curtains are 56 wide x 63 per panel. This one is 28" wide each panel - total 56" wide. Totally disappointed because I'd have to purchase another 3 pair to work on the windows. Right now it looks like a complete error in judgement between the bright color and the lack of material on the windows. All I can tell people till a replacement is available? I purchased through the Walmart website, not in person! I do, however, love the fabric. I bought 2 packages of this curtain and received them today. I couldn't be happier. The color is beautiful and I like that these curtains aren't heavy or even close to being blackout. That isn't what I was looking for.

I enjoy seeing some light shine through, but hey are on the thin side. In fact, I was surprised how thin they are. The color and fabric on the back is the exact same as the front. They offer a little more privacy than sheers but not much more. Just look at the picture that Walmart has above on this page. It's completely accurate to how the curtain looks. Oh, and the Marine color I got is the exact color that it shows online. Got these instead of my usual "sheers." We moved to a home with bigger windows and less privacy, but I hate overly fussy window treatments and darkness. These let in all the light without the sun beating us to death (saves on the AC bills). At night we can walk around the house in our minimals and no one outside can really tell what we are - or aren't - wearing. I still have my classic white curtains - the look I love. Polyester is so much easier to take care of, too - whip them down, into the washer, then dry as you wish or hang damp (pulls wrinkles out).
