So I have access to good baking. But there was something about your goods that was just so magical. Everything was so fresh and delicious, I could taste every ingredient. Park Hyatt Siem Reap, Cambodia The Park Hyatt Siem Reap's revamped Khmer-meets-Art Deco renovation feels completely right, especially the sunlit public Living Room lounge, which has rose-hued velvet love seats and towering book-filled shelves inset with striking locally hand-loomed textiles... You can burn off the calories with bike rides around Tampa's trendy SoHo neighborhood. 8. Alfond Inn, Winter Park, FL If you want to take it slow and savor the day, the Alfond Inn is just the hotel for you. A typical night may mean taking a blanket, sitting outside, listening to jazz and sipping champagne while the hotel's chef prepares a smoked pig. There's also high tea in the afternoon, an elevated pool, and special VIP (Very Important Pup, natch) service for dogs... Art lovers, take note: The Alfond Inn was founded by Barbara and Ted Alfond, longtime arts patrons in Florida. Pieces from their personal collection appear throughout the hotel. 7. Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, Maui, HI

At the Andaz Maui the ocean is there to provide adventure when you want it (the snorkeling and surfing lessons are excellent), but the resort is also a sanctuary for total R&R... More than half of the 297 rooms have water views, and all are made even better by the private lanais, where you can gaze at the star-filled sky and dream up the next day’s plans. 6. The Pearl, Rosemary Beach, FL Lovers of both technology and luxury will find a happy mix of both at The Pearl, which features in-room iPads and Apple TVs alongside poolside mani-pedis and private balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The hotel boasts a stretch of private beach, and you can opt for spa treatments in a cabana next to the beach... For a truly luxe experience, book the Pearl Suite, an observatory room inside the resort's clock tower, which provides gorgeous ocean views from nearly every angle. 5. The Gritti Palace (Luxury Collection), Venice, Italy Built in 1525, this Venetian-Gothic palace is the former residence of the Vatican ambassadors to Venice.

The Langham, Chicago, IL The Langham Chicago’s airy lobby boasts accents of pink—the hotel chain’s signature color.
