You can sign up to donate blood during all lunches until Friday February 10th. You must be at least 16 to donate. Congratulations to Emily Kinnarney for being selected to participate in the Molecular Medicine in Action symposium at the Herman B. Wells Center for Pediatric Research, Indiana University School of Medicine. The MMiA is a very prestigious and exciting symposium over spring break. She is one of only 50 students from Indiana to be selected! On December 14th the Hoosier Youth Philharmonic, comprised of orchestra students from South and North High Schools, combined forces with Tri North, Batchelor, and Jackson Creek Middle Schools to perform a concert full of holiday favorites. Congratulations to Bloomington High School South Senior Betsy Beggs on being named a Monroe County’s 2017 Lilly Endowment Community Scholars!

Betsy will receive full tuition for four years to the Indiana college of her choice and a $900 yearly stipend for required books and equipment. A supervised study table will be held in the cafeteria from 3:15-5:15pm, each week, Monday thru Thursday. Any student who needs to wait here for a school activity that starts later in the afternoon, but does not have time to go home, should go to the cafeteria for study table. If you are not participating in a supervised school activity, you will be asked to vacate the building at 3:15pm. Want to learn more about Dance Marathon?
