Recently, a new chapter of industrialisation has begun at Kvadrat. By investing in Wooltex and Gaudium, two significant European textile suppliers, we have become directly involved in the manufacturing processes of our textiles. This has added many benefits to the way we work. For instance, we now deliver textiles direct from the loom to our increasingly global clients. Ready Made Curtain is an adjustable curtain kit, which has been designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, in collaboration with Kvadrat. Simple and elegant, Ready Made Curtain is based on minimal components. Each kit contains two wooden wall fixings, pegs, a hanging cord, and an opaque or translucent curtain textile. Both fabrics come in three colour variations. Installation is effortlessly easy: 1. Fix the two mechanisms to your wall or ceiling. 2. Wind to create tension in the cord. 3. Attach the pegs to the fabric. 4. Cut your fabric to the correct length. 5. Hang your curtain

Zwei verschiedene Stoffe in jeweils drei Farben werden von Kvadrat angeboten: Warme, gemütliche Wolle oder, für Menschen die es moderner mögen, der High-Tech-Stoff Trevira CS: Der schwer entflammbare Stoff besitzt Fasern in Form eines Comonomers - einer phosphororganischen Verbindung - fest in der Faser verankert. Sie können durch äußere Einflüsse wie Sonneneinstrahlung usw. Aus diesem Grund bleibt der Trevira CS-Stoff lange Zeit farbecht, und aufgrund seiner feuerhemmenden Eigenschaften ist er geeignet für den Einsatz im öffentlichen Bereich.
