Ready Made Curtain is an adjustable curtain kit, which has been designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, in collaboration with Kvadrat. Simple and elegant, Ready Made Curtain is based on minimal components. Each kit contains two wooden wall fixings, pegs, a hanging cord, and an opaque or translucent curtain textile. Both fabrics come in three colour variations. Installation is effortlessly easy: 1. Fix the two mechanisms to your wall or ceiling. 2. Wind to create tension in the cord. 3. Attach the pegs to the fabric. 4. Cut your fabric to the correct length. 5. Hang your curtainA curtain – simple and practical like never before. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec designed the Ready Made Curtain for Kvadrat according to the motto: easy, fast and ready to go. From the installation until it is mounted, the Ready Made Curtain has everything a good curtain needs in one package: All the parts are included in the kit and harmoniously coordinated in terms of colours and shapes.

The sizes of the Kvadrat Ready Made Curtains are also easily cut and adapted to the size you want, since the fabric doesn’t fray. Two different fabrics in three colours are offered by Kvadrat: warm, comfortable wool or, for people who like it a little more modern, the high-tech fabric Trevira CS. This material has fibres in the shape of a comonomer – a phosphor organic compound – where the flame retardant properties are firmly anchored. They won’t change with external influences, such as sunbeams. Thus, Trevira CS fabric remains softer for longer and is ideal for public places. The installation of the Ready Made Curtains, available in fire-red, warm-white and pale or dark-blue is easy: fix the bracket on the wall or on the ceiling, install the cable, put the clips on it, cut the fabric and hang it. Kvadrat was honoured with the Consumer’s Choice Award 2013 for the Ready Made Curtain – an award that is given by convinced customers. Kvadrat offers the expansion kit in order to equip a wide window with the Ready Made Curtain.

Please note that the fabric Trevira CS is a fleece fabric and it mustn't be washed in the washing machine, since it damages its properties. Clean the fabric with a damp cloth only.
