A lot of the patrons would spend the entire day on the pool deck. Everything is clean and new. I would suggest the smaller rooms as it is south beach, and there is lots of partying going on; hanging curtain rods in sheetrockand some people sleep loudly and come in quite early in the morning. hanging curtain rods on sheetrockThe management was very helpful and friendly. blackout curtains in cairoThey are very sticky on the rules also, which are reasonable for the comfort of everyone staying at the hostel. I think they ejected four people during my 3 day stay and I didn't even know until I was leaving. My cell phone charger was stolen ten minutes before I left, but I wouldn't blame the management. I would say use the lockers and once again, get the smaller room.

If you're looking to party hard and raise havoc, stay at another hostel. Leave this nice place, friendly for people who really want to have an honest go in Miami, and see what it's really all about.place is good.. took some time to find it as there is no sign and had to wait for someone to open the door. the security is very tight which is a good thing. staff was nice and the kitchen/common area is spotless..lockers are convenient too. problem for me was that the room has too many bed and feels a bit like an army base :-)This place can be tricky to find. It is located down an alley way and you have to enter through a side door then take the elevator up to the 3rd floor. Upon check-in, if you are from the USA, they want to see a driver's license that says you are not a local. This place will not accommodate locals from Miami-Dade, Broward, and other close counties for fear of dr ug activity. There is also a long list of rules you have to sign when you arrive. There are two washer and dryers for laundry costing about $2.00 each per load.

The kitchen and lounge area is nice. The "free breakfast" isn't much, nothing but bread (make your own toast), cereal, and orange juice. The giant dorm room you stay in, the showers, and the toilet stalls. One young lady showered with the door open and I was able to see her full frontal, but she didn't mind and just said hi. There is a second bathroom in the back with only shower curtains and more private toilet stalls but there is no leg room once you close the door. Happy hour is at the hotel next door, free basic alcoholic drinks from 7-8pm. Located in the center of nightlife, easy to walk or taxi anywhere.It would have been perfect except my last night stay was horrible with an African American male and female arguing loudly at 11pm that woke up everyone. It lasted for a long time despite interference of manager on-site to no avail. Very disgusted and annoyed since I have an early flight the following day. Others should have more respect and coherence for others privacy, peace of mind, & should be not subjected to uncivilized behaviors by others.
