SmartHub performs as advertised. All of these components recognized and properly connected on first try. Successfully tested both WiFi and Ethernet connectivity to my LAN. Decided to go with Ethernet. Needed to enter manually the DNS for my LAN. Found the specific DNS for my LAN by looking in Network & Internet settings on my Windows 10 home computer. This approach worked after failing to connect with various generic DNS codes such as 8.8.8.8. Picture quality is phenomenal.

Had an encounter with the auto dimming issue mentioned by some users, but this was solved by disabling Eco Sensor. The e-Manual is the only unimpressive element of this TV. I have discovered a number of features which are not mentioned in the e-Manual. For example, for my cable box, pressing Up on the directional pad produces a row of PIP boxes at the top of the screen showing each channel in my favorites list. I've used Samsung TVs/PC Monitors for several years and I have NEVER been disappointed. I've had a 2010 55" 1080p Samsung TV that I've used for 6 years and I was very happy with it. When 4K came out, and I saw the clarity in it, I knew I needed to get one, just needed to come up with the cash! Recently buying a PS4 Pro, I decided it was time to use that money and invest into a 4K TV and I am so happy with my purchase. The TV is great, the quality is great, the performance in Game Mode is fantastic! The TV is very easy to navigate through and I think within a week, most people will have figured out the basic features they need and will use every day.

The Smart features work very well, and as simple as the remote is, I actually really like it! I recommend this TV to anyone who wants the quality of 4K, without spending too much. This isn't a super high end Samsung TV, but I can say it very well surpassed all of my expectations, so I am 10/10 happy!

The auto program will find all the cable and air channels, however both sets of channels are a pain to access from the remote. You can only choose "air" or "cable" under "Live TV -> Channel List -> Antenna" not both.
swish curtain track leicesterHis prior TV would go through the air channels, then the cable channels and loop back to air.

To go though the Live TV set up is a pain and definitely too hard for an 89 year old man with Alzheimer's. I realize this is not the typical use case, however I wish they would update the firmware to add a "both" option. I am a hardware and embedded SW engineer and know this is a fairly simple fix. I am a Samsung fan and have a Samsung phone, tablet and small TV/monitor that have been great.

*** I will update this if the firmware changes. Back in the day, we had a small black and white tv. There were only three tv stations: ABC, CBS, and NBC. Friday night fights were all the rage. TVs back in the late 1950s was more of a novelty than a necessity, and today, it's more of a necessity than a novelty, so you're going to want the best product on the market. The reason i chose this model is twofold. I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. What better TV to integrate with than a Samsung? Connectivity was a snap. Hooks up to your WIFI just as easy as your Samsung smartphone. I was viewing Amazon Prime video and Youtube in minutes. HDMI is used for my Direct TV. BTW--this tv is Direct TV ready. I also have the old fashioned TV antenna on my roof, and let me tell you, the broadcast HD picture is amazing. You won't go wrong purchasing this or any other Samsung TV. Oh, and the picture quality--it's like being there in real life. Day 1 out of the box. I am upgrading from a samsung 600 series 1080p 120 hz set to this 65" 4k set.

The picture is incredible streaming 4k netflix or amazon content. I researched for weeks before getting a smoking deal on this. After reading the reviews i was ready to by the ks8000 series, but after further research realized for what I watch and do on the tv that for nearly half the price the 6300 would be fine. So glad I made this choice. The sound quality is also very good, I don't know what the people who knocked the onboard speaker were talking about, it is good enough for me. I will probably add a sound bar down the road, but not necessary to still enjoy. Great product, I hope it lasts as long as my other samsung tv's. This model replaced my 60" Samsung 3D model, which developed screen clouding problems. Unfortunately, this is not 3D compatible, nor is the picture sharpness as vivid and clear as the 3D. Very disappointed that 3D models are no longer available new from Samsung. However, the price of this model is certainly less and the picture, as well as quality, is very good.

Smart Hub has been enhanced and very easy to use. I just upgraded my TV from a Toshiba 40" 1080 to this 60" uhd samsung, and it is awesome in every way. I can't compare the weight because it is my first 60" tv, but the color; ease of use... etc. Are all top notch. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or to anyone for that matter.Lightweight, quick and easy initial setup. HD programming color is spectacular. Purchased soundbar and subwoofer with tv that really adds to viewing experience. Like many people, have had to work thru wireless issues with trying to play content from cell phones, mirroring the cell phone, and not quite the full feature browsing capabilities that you would like, but still very acceptable. For the price, a very good value. Haven't had any issues after 3 months. This tv now doubles as a computer monitor for graphic design as the display is accurate and easy on the eyes. Plan on getting a sound bar. No room in this to adequately provide quality sound.
