I had all the proper tools to install it, but some the metal anchors wouldn't go in all the way and bent. I went to Osh bought some plastic anchors like these OOK 59208 60 Piece Assorted Screw and Anchor Kit. They only cost $2 so that was good. On one side of the bar I used the supplied anchors, and on the other I used the plastic ones from Osh. The plastic ones are much easier to install, and get the job done. The bar looks great and the adjustable joint is hardly noticeable. I'm in an apartment now, and the adjustable feature was a major selling point for me. If it came with the plastic anchors it would've been a 5 star easily.
