ikea janette curtains green

Idea and photo credit: Amanda Pace All rights reserved If I had still had little ones at home, I would do this one in minute! I even have a spring loaded bar and shower rings on hand, not being used for anything. Place a spring-loaded shower rod (Levolor Shower Tension Rod) against the back wall of your tub, with wire baskets (Schulte Large Simple Basket or United Solutions Small Plastic Storage Baskets) hanging on Plastic Shower Curtain Rings to organize all those bath toys. I think any sort of basket would work, either wire or plastic baskets. When company comes over, just move the rod to the top of the shower to get it out of the way.I wonder what you could store there if there were no little ones in the house? So, who is going to try this one? From our Facebook fan page: Hannah Taylor posted: I love this idea Tonya DeKruger posted: Awesome idea! In the short time since I visited her home, I’ve been noticing through the photos on her Instagram feed, that Hong has moved furniture, painted, changed entire room schemes and still managed to run her business while wrangling two little children! Although they were originally from Brisbane, the Henwood family (Hong, David and 2 children) were living in Perth and were back in Brisbane for a holiday when they found this quaint Queenslander home, but it wasn’t on the market.
Hong says it was one of those moments of “being in the right place at the right time,” and not long after, they were packed and on their way across Australia, to their new Brisbane home. The home is a tri-gable Queenslander with a traditional layout that has remained fairly untouched, apart from the addition of a spacious deck. At the front of the home is an enclosed sunroom, which has been painted white and creates a perfectly serene feeling as you enter the house. Off to the side of the entry area, the children have a great space to play, create and imagine. It is decorated with a mix of new and vintage pieces and features one of my favourite things ever, the tee pee! As mentioned earlier, the layout of the home has not been altered much, if at all.  So like most homes of this era, in the centre of the house you will find the living spaces, with the other rooms leading off from this area. There are many traditional features still in top condition, that are testament to the Queenslander style of design and architecture.
Off the master bedroom, is a small study area where Hong works online for her business The Affordable Style Files, creating styling solutions for clients around the country. The Children’s rooms are full of fun and colour and are such an inspiration, showing that kids rooms can still be stylish and on trend! Like the rest of the home, they are furnished with vintage finds mixed together with items from stores like IKEA, Cotton On and K Mart. It all goes together perfectly when you have the magic touch! No Brisbane home is complete without a perfect outdoor space.  This huge deck is like a second living area, with a comfy lounge and a large dining table, it’s the ultimate spot to relax and cool down on a hot Brisbane day! Perched high on a hill, the home has a great green view, taking in the vista across to the ranges.
