After reading many reviews on this shower curtain and trying it out in a few hotels I've stayed at, I decided to take the plunge and try this shower curtain in my poorly ventilated city apartment bathroom. This curtain comes with a 100% PEVA snap-in liner, but I bought the recommended fabric (100% Polyester) snap-in liner to use instead: Hookless Snap-In Fabric Liner for Shower CurtainsI've tried countless shower liners (PEVA, EVA, etc.) that claim to be toxin-free, mold/mildew-resistant, machine washable, but they've all gunked up or become damaged in the washing machine. Granted, you do have to get the fabric liner I mentioned above, but the water-resistance and breathability of this combo makes for the perfect shower curtain. Water does not come through while I shower, even though the polyester fabric does get wet, and the panel dries fairly quickly.This is a BIFL (Buy It For Life) product for me, and I'm glad I no longer have to research/read up on/buy any more poor quality liners and shower curtains.

that being said, the "window" portion allows plenty of light in so the shower area is much brighter. I do wish the curtain were weighted at the bottom corners like our previous shower curtain. This curtain does the job and looks nice in the bathroom. It's not a heavy curtain or liner, BUT, my life long anxiety of a Psycho style attack while I'm in the shower are gone. The see through top is just what I wanted. I've been using this hookless curtain for 4.5 years now and I'm pretty pleased with it. It has weights on each end but since it's a cloth-like material I don't get it wet. Of course this one didn't come with a liner so I had to purchase that one separately at the time. I wear glasses and I need to see what I'm doing so the brighter the curtain the easier it is on my eyes. In the four years I had this I only had to wash it once. Since I don't own a dryer it came out wrinkled but with the constant steam hitting this thing it should knock the wrinkles out. I'm not bothered by it though because it's for showering purposes only.
