ikea sanela velvet curtains turquoiseI bought this along with the Hookless Mystery Snap-In Peva Liner Fabric Shower Curtain, White so I could stop buying plastic shower curtain liners. I figured that not only would it look better (vs. a liner that builds up grime over time) but I would save money over the long term and be more environmentally responsible. Also, it enables my young son to see out while taking a shower, which makes him feel safer. After installing it and using it for a couple of weeks I was fully prepared to write a five-star review. I've had these types of shower curtains in hotels before and they would sometimes have an issue where the inner liner would bulge inward and bump up against you while showering.
That never happened for us with this liner. The problem is that now having had it for only 5 weeks, three of the 12 snap fasteners that attach the liner to the curtain have broken. It's beyond the return period so I guess I'm stuck with it. For it to fall apart in such a short period of time, especially in a shower that is only used twice a day, is very disappointing.
