Once applied, the paint absorbs into the material, drying within just 30 minutes and does not change the feel/texture or stiffen fabrics. It is permanent, fast drying and can be machine washed once fully dry (suggested 72 hours). For best results, ensure absorbency of materials by testing a small area with water first and make sure material is dry, free of oils and loose dirt before painting. Unfortunately our spray-able fabric dye will not work on all material, to test if it is suitable, simply pour a little water onto the fabric you are wanting to change, if it is absorbed (and does not bounce off or pass straight through) then it is very likely that upholstery spray paint will work.

'It's ideal for use throughout the home, offering a contemporary alternative to more traditional whites for living rooms, kitchens and hallways, and it's a restful choice for bedrooms.'B&Q: Light Rain A subtle grey that works in both contemporary and traditional spaces.'Light Rain has proved popular as a way to add colour and depth to a room without being overpowering," says B&Q Colours interior expert, Jemma Chalmers. 'It works perfectly teamed with soft pastel tones especially peach and turquoise or alongside a more dramatic darker grey like Grey Slate for a tonal look.'Farrow & Ball: Pointing A versatile off-white, this is similar in colour to lime mortar and so has a traditional feel.'Pointing can bring to life stronger neutrals like Hardwick White and Bone,' explains Sarah Cole, Marketing Director of Farrow & Ball. 'But it can also be used on larger surfaces like walls, ceilings and floors. Draw attention to your woodwork and make a feature of furniture by painting the walls in Pointing and woodwork in a darker tone like Card Room Green.'Crown: Fairy Dust

This pale pink makes any room feel light and bright.'Fairy Dust remains popular for little girls' bedrooms, however it doesn't always have to be sweet and pretty,' explains Judy Smith, Crown Colour Consultant. 'Shades of pink can look new and modern if combined with tones of grey and hard materials like concrete and metal. Try painting out a section of a wall in a strong asymmetric pattern to bring an unexpected element to this soft colour.'Dulux: Sea Urchin A rich, jewel-like teal, this bold shade will look great when balanced with crisp white accents and furniture.'Sea Urchin combines the attributes of blue and green to create a calming and soothing effect, but because of its intensity it still packs a punch of drama and sophistication,' says Louise Tod, Senior Dulux Global Colour Designer. 'To create an exciting and unexpected scheme try accessorising with acid yellow or deep plum.'Ecos Organic Paint: Clotted Cream This soft and pale peachy white is an ideal choice whether you're opting for understated elegance or using it as a backdrop for bold coloured accessories.'It works extremely well with lots of strong colours, although with the exception of lilac,' explains Ian West, founder of Ecos Paints.

'The great thing about this warm shade is it looks fantastic anywhere, in any room and on any wall.'Homebase: Duck Egg Blue Subtle and versatile, this colour can be combined with Pale Duck Egg to create a beautiful multi-tonal scheme.'Duck Egg Blue is ideal for creating a soothing, relaxing environment for a bedroom but it works particularly well in the kitchen,' explains Heather Taylor, Homebase Paint Buyer. 'It can be styled in multiple ways so you can create a country kitchen by combining it with warm neutrals or a cleaner, modern kitchen with white and on trend greys.'Little Greene: French Grey A perennial favourite, this is a delicate, warm grey originally from the Victorian era.'French Grey's yellow and red pigments, rather than the traditional black and white, mean it's easy on the eye and the colour and tone vary with the lighting,' says David Mottershead, MD of Little Greene. 'It combines well with brights or subtle tones including white. This shade and its pale, mid and dark variants are particularly suited to spaces where sophistication or tranquillity is required.'Marston & Langinger: Smoke Blue
