However we would recommend that each hospital carries out it's own assessment to set the frequency at which the curtains should be changed in different areas. Each curtain has a self audit label so that you can easily see when it was last changed and can be included within your existing infection control procedures. Does the fabric support bacterial growth?Easy-fit and Uni-fit curtains are treated with a residual biocide. This anti-microbial treatment protects the curtain from MRSA and many othe hospital borne bacteria. Unlike other products which claim that they inhibit bacterial growth, all of our products have a positive treatment which kills bacteria on contact. Do the disposable curtains offer the same privacy as conventional curtains?

Answer: Privacy and dignity are a prime concern for patients and staff.  The pleated fabric of the curtain provides the same if not more privacy than a conventional curtain. Are the curtains available in varying lengths? Answer: Easy-fit and Uni-fit curtains come in one standard width which is 7m overall and gives an actual spread on the track of 5.7m.  All curtains can be cut to smaller sizes with the use of a small curtain cutter which is available on request. How are the curtains labelled? Answer: Details of the label allow the client to write in the date which the curtain was fitted. The label also refers to the fire retardancy standard and is clear and visible to allow simple auditing procedures to apply. Are the disposable curtains made from environmentally friendly fabric?The Easy-fit and Uni-fit curtains are made from 100% polypropylene which has one of the lowest environmental impacts of any material - synthetic or traditional.
