I ordered these off another site and loved them so much I found them on Walmart for less money and ordered another set for my living room. My dining room will also be getting theses. eclipse curtains 52x63Living in the Florida summer heat I will be using these to cool the house down and help with the bills. black windsor lined pencil pleat curtainsMy room looks like it's nocght time when these are shut. elli & raff curtainsI tried the eclipse samara which has the therma back but they were very stiff plus trying to open them was almost impossible. These Bobbi curtains have none of these issues. And I've shopped around, Walmart is the cheapest for these. Hopefully this helps someone. I did a lengthy time consuming search on the web to find drapery liners that black out light and absorb noise from the street.
After a 2 day search I decided to use these as a liner. They serve the purpose intended enough to deserve a 5 star rating. Other products on the market far exceeded the price of these. I already had the grommet canvas curtains but needed a liner. I hung these and the grommets lined up to match perfectly. I took scissors and trimmed them. This was an easy, cheap solution that resulted in a high quality result for my window treatment. They block light and absorb street noise. They will help with the window air conditioner noise too this summer. We received these curtains just this week, and the first day I put them up, it felt about 10 or 15 degrees cooler in the living room. The quality is good, but there can be a slightly crooked stitch here or where, which is not even noticeable 3 feet away. They are not completely blackout, but they seem to darken the room by about 90%. As others have mentioned, the ivory is not a flat ivory color, but a much more interesting light colored woven pattern.
Took a chance & ordered these curtains just going off of reviews. So glad I did! I got the color pewter (which is a beautiful med-dark grey) for my daughters room. Her room is very bright being that she has 3 large windows & these now block out almost all light! I have expensive blackout curtains in the living room that I paid $60+ per panel & I like these Eclipse Bobbi Blackout curtains just as well or better. They are a lightweight, perfect color & extremely efficient. Definitely placing another order for a few more rooms soon! The picture on the website looks like it's off white or ivory. When I received it, the color is more beige and from the site photo you couldn't tell it was nubby textured. I really love these curtains. I got the pewter, which at first I had no idea why I ordered them in that color in the first place. But since having hung them with white sheers, I just love them more and more every day. I honestly didn't know what to expect with the fabric since you can't really see what you're ordering, but the texture is really rich and heavy.
They definitely block light. I'm ordering another panel because I love these so much. If you want something that looks far more expensive and classy, buy these. ATTENTION:: If you order these drapes in ivory the actual color is more linen with tweed running through it. I was very disappointed because I wanted solid ivory. They do however block out the sun. I will be returning because of the color. I bought these for our west-facing master bedroom. We had blinds and thermal curtain panels on the windows, but were still being awakened by sunlight on weekends and at 5 am on summer mornings. A friend recommended the Eclipse panels. Based on the reviews I read, it seemed like the darker panels block light much better, so we replaced our cream thermal curtains with the grey Eclipse panels. There is some light coming through at the sides and top (where the drapes meet the wall) and from the grommets, but certainly not enough to wake us up. And they look really nice, too! SO happy with these.
The curtains are nice quality. Great for room darkening. However, the Espresso color shown does not look like a true brown in person. More of a charcoal/greenish color. Not at all what I would call Espresso. Also, the pictures shown online depicted a bronzish/brushed grommet. These grommets are bright silver. Not at all what I was expecting. The texture of these were nice, a subtle tight-weaved pattern, not too noticable but gave some visual interest to the plain curtain. We would have loved these if they were a true brown with the brownish grommets like they were displayed online. These, like all grommet panels, are super easy to install. It took me 10 days to find this kind of panel curtains good for my bedroom. I was not please with the color. I order TAN color it turn out DARK KHAKI . That was the color. When i view online the COLOR was TAN , to my surprised too dark for my bedroom. I,m returning this today. The COLOR did not meet my expectation. It different from there website.
