High to low rating Low to high rating Love this product so much, that when the washing machine tore the lining I had to replace it with an exact one. Thermo lining keeps the florida summer heat out, and the pattern is beautiful. I suggest dry clean. Washing machine ruined the lining of mine. Absolutely love these curtains in our living room!
They are very well made and look great on the sliding glass door. I am really pleased with this purchase and would buy again in the future! I was really confused how to star rate these because it really depends on your expectations and needs how they rate. first off, they are not fabric...they are a strange material sort of like a tarp. they are not light blocking at all. I ordered them to cover a doorway to a dressing room.you can see the ceiling light is on right through them. they have a shiny look to them, not canvas like the website photo seems. because they arent fabric the creases from the folding in package will not go away just hanging them. You definitly cant go near them with an iron. Theyd be a melted mess. im going to try a steamer. even though these arent at all what I expected, im keeping them. You ask...well the pattern and color is so great that im willing to overlook anything else. I havent found anything else like them and the look great style wise.
bottom line, if you want an inexpensive curtain for style and privacy only they are 5 stars if you want a light blocking well hanging drape then they are 2 stars. They are ideal for an area with moisture like a bathroom, french doors, a florida room etc guest room or living room. youre personal bedroom that gets morning sun, NO The curtain panel (yes, there is only 1 per package, despite what the comments say) is just as pictured. The color is great, and the fabric is nice and sturdy, yet drapable, definitely just what I was hoping for. I love that you can hang them in several ways. In the reviews, someone said they used clips with hooks, plus you can just put the rod through the pocket. But I especially like the way it's shown in the magazine ad, where you weave the rod in and out of the little fabric strips on the panel so it looks like it would if it had grommets, if that makes any sense (click on the photo to see up close). My only complaint is that they don't come in a longer length, as they're about a foot too short for my window, but I'm going to add a coordinating panel of off-white at the bottom to lengthen them.
Overall, though, they're a great buy, even if I had to buy two! **By the way, just a warning: the rod that is pictured in the ad is not the one that is suggested at the bottom. The pictured rod has a much larger finial, which I learned when I ordered the wrong one! I liked the rod, as it looked similar, but the finial is tiny. Not sure if I'll return it or just not use it with these curtains. Ordered this after seeing it in the better homes and gardens magazine ad. I was surprised at how nice it looked in the magazine and once i got it home, it looked just as nice on my window. These look classy and the geometric print is perfect with my brown painted walls, just like the ad. They are not lined. The back of the curtain is white, there is a coating on the back i assume to make it room darkening. The biggest problem is I need to buy another one. To put one on each side of the window, so now it will cost almost $40 to cover the window, when i was hoping to get drapes on the cheap. I am still keeping it and ordering another one- I like it so much- Im just disappointed I have to pay almost $40 to cover one window.
I ordered these curtains almost 3 months ago. They took forever to get into my store and when I got home and hung them up, one was crooked and one of the sides was 2 inches shorter than the other. It was so lopsided that I couldn't make it work even if I had wanted to. I returned it and tried to order another panel, but my order was canceled and they wouldn't have it shipped from site to store, which was super frustrating. I was gone for a week then ordered it again. It took almost 2 weeks to get to my store (after the website said it was available for pick up that day) and when I hung it up, 1 side is 1/2 an inch shorter than the other. I'm going to live with it because it's not noticeable when the curtain is open and I don't want to go through the nightmare of trying to get another panel. Otherwise, it's a great looking curtain, it doesn't block out too much light but we have it over blinds anyway, so it's just what we need, it will need to be pressed after you get it, and I would recommend getting at least 2 more panels than you need so you can return the ones that are crooked and not have to have only 1 curtain hanging in your living room for almost 2 months like I did.
I saw these curtains in my local store and I looked at them a few times before buying them. I was looking for curtains to go on my new french doors to block light and save energy. When opening the curtains, which come ONE to a pack, like most curtains these days, they were stiff as cardboard. I think these babies could have stood up by themselves! They were also loaded with creases and wrinkles. I spent a considerable amount of time with a steam iron getting the wrinkles out of one set. It was quite a job. I hung them and they were still much too stiff. I could open them all the way up but they wouldn't stay due to being so stiff. So, I took the second set out of the pack and ran them through a cycle in the washer with a cup of vinegar for softening. I dried them until they were slightly damp, ironed them (they still had a lot of creases) and hung them. They were much softer but still kind of stiff. I could then open them and they hung nicely. Unfortunately, after all that work, I decided the light color and the pattern didn't go with my decor.
I painstakingly repackaged them and returned them. These are very pretty curtains but be prepared to do some work to get them to look right. These panels are by far the best value I have found- and I am a picky customer. I did an exhaustive search on the internet for a modern (yet not overly geometric) style in a chocolate or brown color. I couldn't find anything even close to this item at this price point. These panels provide a classy design in a pleasing neutral color, block a decent amount of light without a liner, allow for mulitple rod configurations, do NOT require dry cleaning AND you can just drive to your local Walmart and pick them up! I didn't like these as window coverings but they were great to re-cover my dinning chair seats. Good quality material with great backing. I really like the pattern and the price was to good to pass up. I'm very happy with what I used them for. They are nicely patterned and will work just find for my needs (which was to put them in an office to cover up some ugly blinds).
