The air conditioner in the room did not work well at first, but improved. 눉The breakfast was ok not consistent. Pastries could have been bakery fresh.눇Excellent Clean guest house. Great position to visit the historic areas gold souks. 눉Shower water wasn't hot, beds were a little hard. Everything else was great.눇Enjoyed the heritage and culture about this hotel. Really enjoyed the art gallery and the furnishings. Location in old Dubai (Deira) was wonderful, walking the streets was interesting and the hotel was very close to the metro, taxis and the abras (water taxis). 눉Waking at 2 am from call to prayer눇friendly helpful staff close to markets and creek very nice breakfast including delicious omelette I liked firm bed but others found them too hard 눉All good눇The authenticity and the location. Although a little hard to find it was worth the effort. Great if you want something away from the usual motel room. 눉We were woken up every morning by singing at the mosque.

This was not mentioned on the website. It was hard to find somewhere in the area to get a beer.눇Very close to a metro station. Location close to the creek in the old part of town. Good value for money. 눉Communication was an issue at times.눇Beautiful building and close to metro without being in the city. 눉Not so many choices of food.눇The heritage decoration is a plus. Only 2 staff on duty but they are running it amazingly good. 눉We had construction noises late into the night disturbing our sleep. The bed was very creaky and doors didn't lock well from inside.눇The staff was very helpful... and the location was very pleasant. A calm and traditional place in a bustling city. 눉On arrival we were given the wrong room. We had booked the suite but were given a family room, with 2 beds. It was dark and gloomy. The evening receptionist tried to tell us it was the suite. We insisted it wasn't what we had booked and it definitely wasn't a suite.
