We were a bit disappointed to find that we could not eat or drink as it was closed. But I think as we booked on the day, this was an extra room that is used when the hotel is filled to capacity.

And nice resteraunts nearby 눉My partner and I booked to stay at the hotel in Ilford on Saturday night. and were more than happy with the price. However our mood soon changed the second we got to the hotel. In the reservation details i purposely specified our time of arrival and also specified that we would be paying in cash. As soon as we went to check in the boy at the desk said we would have to pay a fifty pound deposit. I then explained to him that it didn't say this when i booked and that it then wasn't appropriate to still charge it. I tried to ask for a manager and the boy explained there was no managers around and hadn't been since 1 o'clock that afternoon, being a weekend i thought this very strange.

After about 10 minutes of trying to explain why it shouldn't be payable my partner who wasn't impressed at all at the staffs attitude decided to pay it as it would of spoiled our night had we have had to return home. The deposit had to be done on a separate transaction to the payment of the room which is utterly ridiculous. but had no answer. We finally got our key to the room (if you could call it that) and headed upstairs. The room was number 34 and was classes as a small double, personally i would class this as a small single it was absolutely tiny. We then decided to pop to a local shop to get a few refreshments and as we returned the boy that was sat the desk when we were checking in gave us a very sarcastic "hello", this was very inappropriate and I just ignored it. The room was very clean and there is no way i could fault any of the cleanliness of the hotel as a whole.눇Absolutely nothing 눉Room was a bit noisy눇Everything clean and tidy Very good breakfast the staff made porridge for me when I asked, extremely helpful and friendly

Choice of breakfast was limited. 눉when we got to the room it was freezing there was know heat on so had to ask for another heater 눉On Arrival we were allocated a room and when we entered the room there were workmen in the bathroom. Reception gave us an upgrade for the inconvenience but we later discovered that the wifi didn't reach to our Executive suite which was separate from the main building눇The executive suite was very comfortable and lots of choice at the breakfast buffet. Good value for money! 눉When arriving at the hotel we were informed we had to pay £50 holding fee incase anything was broken etc. When being told this we were quite shocked as this should of been stated online when we booked. We went out for the day to London and arrived back at 8. We were awakened at 3 in the morning with a couple or I presume were next to our room screaming, banging and running down the corridors arguing.
