Victoria Square Shopping Centre is home to the UK's largest House of Fraser store, Northern Ireland's largest underground car park and featuring an impressive glass dome. The 37m diameter dome rises to 45m above lower ground level and comprises 635 triangular panes of glass. It is an iconic image on Belfast’s skyline! Our in investment in the latest glass cutting & processing technology means we can cut up to 19mm thick efficiently whilst maintaining a high quality finish. We can also offer a wide range of laminated glass (including Softcoat Low E, Acoustic and High Performance Solar Control range) up to 12.8mm cut and processed in-house. Toughening & Heatsoaking (PG Safeguard ®) Our ultra modern Cooltemper Jetstream Tempering Furnace allows us to produce even the most complex high performance coated glasses, with excellent visual qualities whilst meeting all current European Safety legislation.

We can toughen from 4mm to 19mm for a wide variety of structural applications including;- Curtain Walling, Doors, Balustrades and Full Height Glazed Partitions. For added confidence in areas such as Structural Glazing or Balustrades, we can also offer Heatsoked Toughened Glass which is used to minimize the risk of spontaneous breakage. Painted Panels / Painted Glass Padiham Glass is at the forefront in the design and manufacture of painted and decorated fritted glass panels. Our Painted Panels are high quality enamelled toughened glass available in a range of standard and non-standard colours, designed for use in Spandrel areas of Curtain Walling. This is available in single form, in a range of glass thicknesses from 4mm to 19mm. It can also be incorporated into an Insulated Glass Unit and also used in applications such as Kitchen Splash-backs and Internal Partitioning. Leading, Bevels & Georgian A small side of our production facility is dedicated for Leading and Bevelling within Insulation Glass Units.

We mainly offer this for Traditional Fanlights and can also offer a bespoke design service if required. We also have the facility at Padiham to produce high volumes of integral Georgian gar within the Insulated Glass Units, of which is normally geared towards the new-build market. Insulated Glass Units () Our Thermailght ® Insulating Glass Units are high performance; dual sealed multiple glazing units which can fulfil the many requirements placed upon modern glazing and can incorporate an aluminium or Warm Edge spacer bar, with an option for gas filling. Utilising the latest soft coated Low E glasses available, the system provides a total energy management solution. This presents significant energy saving and improved thermal efficiency of buildings. In addition to conventional glazing systems, Padiham Glass can also offer High Performance Insulated Glass Units to where there is a structural requirement to withstand a wide temperature range, and also a high resistance to Ultra Violet Rays (e.g Roof Glazing).

These units are vertically sealed with a Dual Seal system incorporating a polyisobutylene primary seal and secondary seal. Foil Back Foam Insulation When used as Spandrel Panels, our Painted Insulated Glass Units can be supplied an integral Aluminium Foil Backed Insulation. This can achieve a U-Value as low as 0.2 w/mk. The Foam Insulation is available in a range of thicknesses and is bonded direct onto the glass or housed in an aluminium foil tray. This is then bonded to the glass on the internal side of the Insulated Glass Unit. We offer a wide range of fire-resistant glass options with varying levels of protection to suit your needs. Protection levels are measured in defined time periods (30,60,90,120 and 180 minutes) and in terms of either integrity or insulation or integrity only, as designated by the European Standards. We currently have a wide range of our own vehicles and own drivers to remain in control of all deliveries. The variety of our fleet ranges from 18 tonne / 30ft curtain-siders, down to LWB sprinter vans.
