Giving old sofas a new life We'll collect and re-use your old sofa when you purchase anew sofa from usThere are many different types of blinds to choose from, such as Roller blinds and Venetian blinds, but one particular type of blind that is growing in popularity is the Roman blind. That’s not to say that we don’t love our modern Venetian blinds, but they can sometimes just be a little too contemporary for some design tastes.
Roman blinds provide superb window coverage yet offer a warmer, softer look than other types of blinds (such as the aforementioned Venetians). When Roman blinds are raised, the fabric folds in a way that is reminiscent of the way curtains look, bringing softness to the room without appearing bulky like curtains. Roman blinds are available in so many different patterns, colours and styles. They suit more traditional or classic rooms, but many will never look out of place in a modern design. With this in mind, Roman blinds can act as a truly beautiful focal point to any room. A Great Alternative To Curtains We prefer Roman blinds to curtains because they offer a soft appearance similar to curtains without appearing bulky. However, that’s not the only reason why we love them. They’re easier to clean than curtains and don’t fade in sunlight like curtains can do – and also provide maximum control over light, so they are an ideal choice for bedrooms. We love the fact that Roman Blinds are available in fabrics that allow light to filter through whilst providing maximum privacy for the room.
