What would you like to do?HE PLASTIC COVER ON THE INSIDE OF THE TAILGATE THERE ARE THREE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREWS AT WINDOW LEVEL WHICH ARE NORMALLY HIDDEN FROM VIEW BY SMALL COVERS THAT CAN BE REMOVED WITH THE TIP OF A SMALL SCREWDRIVER.(IF YOU HAVE CURTAINS THESE WILL HOLD ON THE LOWER CURTAIN RAIL) AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PANEL THERE ARE TWO EXPANDING TRIM BUTTONS TOTHE REST OF THE PANEL IS HELD IN PLACE WITH PLASTIC CLIPS WHICH JUST PULL OUT IF YOU CAREFULLY USE A WIDE FLAT TOOL TO PRISE THE TAILGATE IS COVERED BY A PLASTIC SHEET HELD ON BY A MASTIC TYPE GOO.tHIS COULD EITHER BE PULLED OFF OR JUST SLIT IN THE RIGHT PLACE WITH A SHARP KNIFE.(I JUST SLIT IT OVER THE NUTS) THE INNER ENDS OF THE LIGHT HOUSINGS ARE HELD ON BY A 10 MM NUT ON A STUD ATTACHED TO THE HOUSINGS. THESE NUTS WILL BE FOUND APPROXIMATELY LEVEL WITH THE TOP EDGE OF

THE LIGHT HOUSING ABOUT 18 INCHES IN FROM THE OUTER EDGE OF THEYOU MAY SEE TWO NUTS VISIBLE(THE TOP ONE HOLDS ON SOME OF THE TRIM,IT'S THE LOWER ONE YOU WANT) THE OUTER END OF THE HOUSING IS HELD IN PLACE BY A PIN /OR CLIP WHICH CAN BE POPPED OUT AFTER REMOVING THE NUT FROM THE INNER END. WHEN THE NUT HAS BEEN REMOVED AND THE OUTER END POPPED OUT THE STUD AT THE INNER END MUST BE PUSHED OUT OF THE HOLE IN THETHEN THE HOUSING MUST BE SLID TOWARDS THE OUTER EDGE OF THE TALIGATE AS PART OF IT NEEDS TO COME CLEAR OF THE NUMBER PLATEWHEN THIS HAS BEEN DONE YOU CAN DISCONNECT THE WIRING CLIP AND TAKE THE HOUSING OFF THE TAILGATE.ACCESS TO THE BULBS IS NOW wHEN I DID THIS THE FOAM RUBBER GASKET HAD PARTIALLY STUCK TO THE TAILGATE MAKING IT A BIT TRICKY TO TELL IF THE LIGHT HOUSING WAS PROPERLY FREE OF THE CAR.INSTALLATION IS EASIER THAN GETTING IT APART AS NOW YOU KNOW HOW THE JIGSAW FITS TOGETHER. TAKE YOUR TIME AND IT'S NO PROB.
