Guests can enjoy drinks at the bar. Recent reviewsGood 3.8 /5 from 127 reviewsVery good poolit was clean hotel and had a pleasant stayAverage hotel room. Has been updated and was clean and comfortable. My room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet compared to the bar at the front. There is a luggage storage room which seemed to be very secure. The hotel is in the CBD so it is close to the shopping precinct and very easy to walk around Darwin. The RSL is about 50 metres away. There is no lift, so carrying suitcases upstairs can be a problem. The Cav has it all. Great service at reception. Some rooms however are close to the exhaust fans from the kitchen and can be a bit noisey when the kitchen is operating. Laundry and guest kitchen rounded out a very enjoyable stay. Note that not all rooms have direct sunlight access.I first thought room would be noisy, as it was next to the pool area, but but it was nearly silent after 10pm. Service was excellent at reception, restaurent, and bar.

Very handy position for shopping, sightseeing, and organising day tours. An older hotel, but kept in very good shape.See all reviewsIs the description of this hotel not correct? The New Year Honours 1977 are appointments in many of the Commonwealth realms to celebrate the year passed and mark the beginning of 1977. The awards were announced on 30 December 1976 in the United Kingdom,[1] Australia,[2] New Zealand,[3][4] Barbados,[5] Mauritius,[6] Fiji,[7] Grenada,[8] and for Overseas Privy Councillors. The recipients of honours are displayed as they were styled before their new honour and arranged by the country (in order of precedence) whose ministers advised the Queen on the appointments, then by honour with grades i.e. Knight/Dame Grand Cross, Knight/Dame Commander etc. and then divisions i.e. Civil, Diplomatic and Military as appropriate. ^ United Kingdom: The London Gazette: (Supplement) no. 47102. ^ Australia: The London Gazette: (Supplement) no. 47103. ^ New Zealand:The London Gazette: no. 47104.

Other then that, if you do not expect too much luxury - it is a convenient place to stay - but you can definitely have more valuable breakfast for that Money just around the Corner.눇Centrally located close to Orchard Road and various MRTs and Shopping malls.

Nice rooms and esp. comfy beds. 눉Swimming pool was out of order during our short term stay at the hotel눇Early check-in available as a compliment 눉Tea bags were not top up everyday. Need to ring everyday to ask. Room was not vacuum during our 6 nite stay.눇Location. 눉Bellboy knocked on our room early in the morning only to give us a letter "not for us". He knocked a minute later to retrieve the letter without even an apology. He already woke me and the kids up and felt groggy and grumpy all day due to jet lag and lack of sleep. Thanks to the bellboy. Kids were looking forward to using the pool however, it was closed during our stay.눇Location and the room. 눉The hotel bathroom could have been kept bit cleaner. The shower curtains were old and dirty and also the corners of the bath area were yellow and looked like fungus affected. If these complaints are improved i would love to stay again in this hotel.눇I liked the location of this hotel just next to the presidential palace and also in the centre of the city.

The nearest metro Dhoby Ghaut interchange and Somerset are 5 mins away by walk. The bus stop is just opposite to this hotel and can pretty much takes anywhere to the city. The rooftop has a beautiful pool and also the view is amazing. There are two hawker centres one just opposite to the hotel and another in the Orchard plaza. 눉The swimming pool closed much too early. A late night swim after walking and shopping at night was really wanted but the pool closes at 8. We never got back to the hotel before10. Coat hangers were absent from the wardrobe but were really required. The room was advertised as soundproof. I heard people and some loud vehicles. But not enough to annoy me. I felt very safe here and was not worried walking round the area late at night on my own.눇I loved the view from my window, the comfy bed and the air conditioning. The hot and cold water drinking supply was also appreciated very much. Having no mobile phone I relied on the free wi fi to contact people.
