Share a pizza your heart with our new Pucker-up Pepperoni Pizza Here’s something a bit different for Valentine’s Day … our Pucker-up Pepperoni Pizza. Our talented pizza counter chefs came up with the great design, featuring heart-shaped slices of pepperoni on a cheese and tomato base.

In the run-up to Valentine’s Day, share a pizza your heart with your Valentine and pick up a 14" stonebaked pizza at our in-store pizza counters for just £3.50, or get a hot and ready to take away 16" pizza for £6 at one of our Express Diners. Asda colleagues across the country get behind World Cancer Day Our colleagues across the country – like Gary Anderson from our Chesser store in Edinburgh – are supporting World Cancer Day. It’s a cause that’s close to his heart as he lost his mum Linda to cancer a year ago. Linda was the Community Champion at the store and Gary took on her role after she died. We’re stocking three different pink Unity Bands in all our superstores for a suggested donation of £2 and the money raised will go to our Tickled Pink charities Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Now. World Cancer Day is on 4th February. Proud moment for Asda fan James as lorry is named after him Student James Corker has been a big fan of Asda lorries since he was a little boy – so he was delighted when our Warrington depot colleagues named one after him.

James, 20, has been a regular visitor to the depot for years – and he’s now on a work placement at our Runcorn store as part of a scheme to prepare young people with learning difficulties or disabilities for the world of work. He’s on the second year of an Entry Level 3 City & Guilds qualification in Catering and Hospitality at Petty Pool College, and during his placement he’s been working in all parts of the store. 102-year-old Jean loves first Asda visit after Catherine's invitation Here’s the wonderful 102-year-old Jean McCullagh enjoying her first visit to her local Asda in Larne after our colleague Catherine McCallion got to know her through a charity knitting group they both attend. Jean told Catherine, who’s the store’s Community Champion, she’d love to come in to shop in the store – so Catherine arranged a VIP visit. Jean, who has five children and is a great-grandma, still lives independently but her mobility has been restricted after breaking her hip so she uses a wheelchair.
