I am responsible for the management and day to day running of the project, supporting homeless people and rough sleepers out of homelessness. I am very passionate about this and I believe strongly that every person sleeping rough or homeless should be given the best possible chance to change their lives for the better. Over 1700 people have been supported out of homelessness at The Wellspring using systems and processes that i have developed. I can be contacted on 0161 477 6344 or 07866985242 Read Jonathan 2015 report in the Annual Report My name is Alex Knight, I came to The Wellspring in 2011 as a social work student on placement. I qualified as a social worker in 2012 and became a full time Project Worker shortly after. My role involves co-ordinating the volunteer rota and supporting our service users with a diverse range of needs; from a simple phone call to preventing evictions, homelessness, enabling and supporting people to access benefits, education, employment and mental health services.

The list is endless, if I can help I will. I believe everyone has the right to be given opportunities, a chance in life to learn from the past and be a part of a better future, The Wellspring can enable that and I feel proud to be part of such a wonderful, diverse team of staff and volunteers.
