Glad I picked Red Roof again as this property was beautiful! The room wasn't remodeled like the one in Richmond, but I felt totally safe at this property. It has a mall across the street and a gas station just around the corner. Plenty of space to walk the dogs and here the dog owners seemed to be picking up after their dogs better. If no the staff was doing a great job at keeping up with it. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed in room 126. There are lots of nicer hotels within 100 yards of this one. This one was sort of scary and not very clean or safe feeling. If I could rate this hotel a zero, that would begin to describe my experience there. I reserved a room by calling the hotel directly and gave my credit card information for the reservation. After traveling 12 hours, we arrived to find there were no rooms available! That's right, even though I had a reservation! To top it off, it took over a week to get the charges refunded to my credit card, which had already been charged despite the lack of rooms. This also happened to 2 other customers, who were ahead of me trying to check in. The front desk personnel were not at all helpful or apologetic, despite admitting that at the time of my call they took the information, charged my card and never checked to see what their occupancy was. I arrived around 7pm and got in the room. There was a waste bag in the property and the room was very clean. One think that made it a 4 bone rating is that there were no elevator to the second floor and you have to bring your luggage by your own but the overall experience was terrific.
